Hi all. I played card hunter when it first came out but stopped after a couple weeks. I recently started playing again and now I'm hooked. It seems like in my absence I missed a few promotions etc and I wanted to know if there is anything in the pipeline either announced or rumored in the near future? I gather there will be a Christmas store similar to the Halloween one. I have 100 pizza from the Basic Bundle and I want to buy some new figures especially as I don't like the human warrior and priest that are available to me but is it worth holding out for any special/new/limited costumes?
Personally, I feel like spending pizza on figures is a waste as that doesn't help you get better items and thus be more flexible/powerful. I would save it for unlocking adventures; existing or future. Also, some holiday leagues give alternate figures as prizes and human warrior seems common. (Cat warrior figure)
Yeah, it might be worth holding onto it until next month at least and see if any surprises come up for the festive season. Spending pizza on chests seems to much of a gamble really. I have 28 days left on the membership and I'm thinking of saving on buying the artifact treasure hunts incase a legendary comes up in the case and my membership has ran out.
Money is tight at the min which is the only reason I am resistant. If it wasn't I'd just buy some pizza and buy a bunch of costumes but I must be conservative and with the new Hearthstone expansion out next month I may want a little for that.
I like spending pizza on figures, but unlocking the treasure hunts is more useful (because the Loot Fairy can't hide form you). We don't know when we'll be able to win figures from leagues again, and some of those required paying pizza to play the league. The Christmas figures will be elf warrior, dwarf wizard, and human priest.
So the Christmas figures will be the same as last year? Were league figures for first place only? I know there is a rogue class coming out or was/is being considered. Anything else like that that we know of? Cheers guys. Looking forward to finishing the campaign and start thinking properly about different team builds for MP.
Figures as prizes were always for first. I wouldn't hold your breath for the rogue class. Not that it won't happen, but that there's been no word any time recently that it's a project in the short term. I think it falls more under a long term interest with no concrete plans for it at the moment. The last 6 months or so have been about improving the game, the word on the street is that most of the effort at the moment is about expanding the player base (which also improves the game), but means we haven't heard anything about any immanent expansions. That said, there's always little things being added here and there all the time.
Some figures were in promotional leagues when leagues first came out, those leagues were free. But the leagues that came after that set which cost pizza had an entry fee of 50 pizza.
are any of the pre made MP parties worth getting? Are there any items there that are worth forking out for?
Vein Drinkers has the best epics out of the bunch in my opinion and is probably the most suited for playing multiplayer straight away. Personally, I'd much rather spend pizza unlocking treasure hunts or even costume if I really really liked them. Epics are fairly easy to get. You can't get those modules or costumes any other way.
