now i know people right now uses Bejeweled Shortsword a lot but really don't be afraid to use it just because it has fumble and large weapon black cards. people should read this if they rely on preiceing attacks.

Would only recommend using the card in SP handicap quests where you don't have gold tokens available. Even then, rageblood dagger is the better choice most of the time.

Assegai is basically a Double-edged Sword combined with an Enormous Mattock, but with the benefits of neither. Not as much movement or stabs as Double-edged, not as much damage as Mattock and Fumble can't just be laterally thought or Arrogant Armored away, not to mention the card disadvantage. I really can't see a reason to use this at any time, unless you don't have a weapon with Blind Rage for a low level handicap quest.

Yeah, for handicap quests (and even in MP for dual minor token weapons) Rageblood Dagger and Eixocl's Hammer are great choices.

Of course those don't have any piercing attacks, but IMHO Assegai's handicaps are too crippling to consider it for use outside handicap quests. I'd use major tokens to add more damage to get over armor or pack some weapons with Sundering Strike.

Both those handicaps are both potentially ruinous. Large Weapon can render a warrior impotent on many maps; and Fumble is likely to strip you of a powerful card you've been saving for the right moment.

The damage of Large Weapon can by minimised by using things like Arrogant Armor and Lateral Thinking; but nothing really weakens the effect of Fumble.

I only consider using Assegai in builds where the warrior's job is to just face-rush the enemy; and the map doesn't have blocking terrain near key locations...

Yeah. I want so badly to like Assegai, but Fumble is just so brutal.

Maybe try two human warriors, one human priest. Run officer harnesses on warriors for both fumble and leadership from priest. For Large Weapon run Arrogant Armor. (Doesn't Arrogant Armor stop fumble?). Run Draw Priest so that you get to essential cards earlier.

There's couple of alternatives with 2 x minor tokens for me without needing to to make a hopeless weapon to work somehow:
    1) Weighted Shortsword - plenty of range 2 melee attacks.
    2) Rageblood Dagger - plenty of step attacks.

With these you can choose your other items to be whatever you want. No need to limit your items with Officer Harnesses, Leaderships or Arrogant Armors. Instead your possible priest(s) can concentrate to buff your warriors into Hulks.

Large Weapon is only playable when the map rotations feature maps with extremely little blocking terrain.

When the map rotation features extremely little blocking terrain, use wizards.

Therefore, Large Weapon is not playable.
