Assume back to normal as though they continued moving on schedule during birthday celebrations. If this turns out to be wrong I'll adjust my countdown appropriately.
I barely even dipped my toes into the celebration this year, I'm afraid. I did manage to sign up for all but two of the Quick Draw leagues, though I think I played about 4 total games in them. I got a big pile of free chests, at least, and those few games I did play got me at least 3 purple chests, so I can't complain. On the other hand, my browser died mere seconds into the festival, so I didn't get to double-dip on the Loot Fairy that first day. That was disappointing. Most notably for the weekend, I got the highest density of rarity in a single chest I've ever seen, which was 2 epics and 2 legendaries. Pity that the actual items turned out to be Sharp Shell #10 and #11, Antioch's Figurine #3, and Captain Cedric's Helm #3. Though there's a chance someday I'll run a party of three warriors and I'll be happy about that helm. All told I managed to obtain 4 more legendary items for the weekend: Antioch's Figurine #3 Captain Cedric's Helm #3 Bolg's Big Iron Plate (Yay! I kinda wanted one of those) Brin's Spiked Rod
I'm not complaining either. My hoard isn't as impressive as that of most who posted in here, but it's certainly way more than I could ever drop under normal circumstances given how little free time I have as of late. Most of all, I had some great fun going through most of the campaign with friends and stranger alike. Good times. Good hunt everybody. May the loot be with all of you! And ofc, happy birthday once more, CH. Looking forward to next year's celebrations
I worked my high level farming time over again. But I am not sure what Arcane Item is best. Do you think runestone or blood locket is better?
I don't think it's a matter of "best". For levels where you get enemies which tend to have tons of move cards an little or no armor/blocks, PoK usually works better. This is especially true for enemies which fly/tp around a lot. Vs less mobile and more heavily armored opponents, Wall of Fire can deal more damage, but usually also requires more setup (make sure you cast it after all moves have been played, control enemies back into position if the escape, etc). That being said, both are substantially incredibly good and very similar items. Just experiment a a bit and pick the one you like the most / feel more confident about.
I feel the same. Both items are great against the KI, because they have two great card and the third card cycles. It depends a lot on the opponents, which are better. May be I run a two and one mix, since I dont like to switch gear unnecassary between adventures.
I was only able to get one Legendary this year. On the free chest the first night I logged in. Sacrifice Mantle. I didn't play as much as I did last year, but other than that I got a few Epics I didn't have and I got a lot of treasure. I may end up buying a Vibrant Pain that is in my Randimar's this week. I know it's not as good as it used to be, but I don't have one and I want to make a leaping dwarf warrior.
As peon said, see it as a bad trasure. But yeah, I know the feeling, I think I have found more than twenty in the last two month. On the other hand, there is none good epic in that level region, right?
Staff Of The Inferno (lvl 3) & Booming Ring (lvl 5) ...also related to RNG loot: http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/bad-luck-with-the-game.7940/#post-97839 Back on topic, I was out of town / offline most of the weekend and was only able to play ~10 hours on Sunday. Luckily, I was able to get both of Kee-Tanh figures. Only legandary loot I got during the weekend were Zero G Combat Helm in one of the EttSC adventures and Wym's Lavastaff from purple league chest.
I also have way too much of them. It was strange when I first hit the point where I no longer was happy to find that staff.
