So I've been working on the various handicap missions and have noticed that there seems to be a lack of martial trinkets with handicaps. I mean, I have a veritable ton of the things and can't seem to find one that I'm allowed to equip. Weak strikes and backbiting strikes don't appear to count but there are no other skills with anything remotely handicap-ish on them. No arcane feedback, no wimpy, not even a squeamish or dropped guard. Is this just an oversight or somesuch?
Unfortunately as you've noticed, handicap cards don't currently exist on martial skills. For a card to be considered a handicap, part of its background needs to be black (not its title bar). Items with these cards can be handily found by typing 'handicap' into the search bar. You can still use warriors in handicap quests, but they'll have to go as Unskilled Martials.

You're right, there isn't a martial skill with a handicap. The reason is unknown to us. An item slot on a character can always be left empty to qualify for a handicap quest. Empty slots provide default (poor) cards. "Unskilled Martial" is one of these empty slots. Unfortunately, the handicap search term currently finds also items which are not themselves handicap items, they just have cards which contain the word "handicap" in their text.

I know, how about 2x Blind Rage and 1x Penetrating Stab. Level 8, tokenless Martial Skill with TWO handicaps. Not OP at all.
Human traits took martial traits' share, leaving them none to use. :X It explains so much. I have nothing more to add.
