Yay for upgrades to fix issue! Boo to the timing - finally got to the end of the queue, started the dungeon, and then was told things would shut down in 15 minutes. What with lag and my alt's poor card pool, I couldn't quite finish The White Star in 15 minutes. Ah, well. At least things will be better soon.
Please send the relevant details in an email to support@cardhunter.com, they will refund your league entry fee. They have already done so for many people. Thanks!
4,274 In-Game Just played an SP adventure. The game is lagging. There's a delay of half a second to several seconds between e.g. clicking a movement card and being able to complete the move. It makes playing the game choppy and not much fun. As a consumer and player it seems to me more server muscle is required.
I should also say thanks for solving the queue problem so quickly! If only the lag can be dealt with it'll all be good again.
It took a very long time to complete my shortened campaign run, but it was much better after the maintenance break. Thanks BM! (Which is to say, Jon and whoever else worked on it.) I do worry about the lag. The veterans know it's unusual, but the newcomers may consider this the norm and decide the game is too slow and quirky to play.
Last night (or about 9 hours ago) the server was up for maintenance for over an hour, is this what did happen or was it just my computer? Also last night, the forums wouldnt load/open for some reason so I couldnt even find out if the server was back up! Did this happen to everyone or just me?
I'm tempted to say it was just you, but it was for everyone. 20+ minute login times and extreme lags called for immediate intervention. I'm not sure why the forums were down, but probably because they are tied to cardhunter.com. They came back up before the game.
Everything looks to be running smoothly this morning. Only slight lag so things are looking better....
Great that the queue is gone. The lag is better, but still there sporadically. It hit after a battle today and told me that I'd won 0 points and that my rating was 0. (It was 14xx going into the battle). Upon looking at the player pool, I did indeed have a ranking of 0. But on matching the next game (appropriately) it was back at 14xx.
Wonder if Amazon Prime Day has anything to do with the server lag too since they are hosted by Amazon which is currently being flooded with users.
I keep logging in and then getting disconnected shortly thereafter. I've been able to stay logged in for a few minutes at most. What's going on? it's not lag now, it's just constant connect+disconnect.
game.cardhunter.com or www.cardhunter.com? because www.cardhunter.com was up and running. And also I think all the issues are fixed now. - There is no longer massive lag spikes but there are some little ones.
Some users are still experiencing connectivity and lag issues. From where I'm sitting, it's hard to say if it's on our end or on the end of users. When Jon and Farbs are up I'm sure they'll investigate.
Whenever I attempt to login, it tells me that the server has disconnected and to try again. I know it has something to do with my browser or flash. Any suggestions?
