I first found Card Hunter through Kong and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. While there is support for the official site and Steam, I haven't seen anything in the ways of including Kong in the mix. Are there plans for linking accounts (or at least making that Kong users don't have to restart if they want to play from the official site/Steam)?
Kong users should be able to download the Steam client and log in with your existing Card Hunter account. The one trick is that you'll need to get a password - just email support@cardhunter.com and we can set one up for you.
No, the game really isn't designed for either of this input methods I'm afraid. For touchscreen, you're probably better off waiting for Loot and Legends.
You can play CardHunter on a Windows 8.1 tablet, although it's definitely not optimized for that kind of input.
I noticed that right away, but assumed it was intentional since we didn't get any treasures in AotA either.
I have sent an email to support asking for a password (nearly a month ago too) but I have not heard back yet.
I've had, oh, 5? requests I sent in to support, and Jon cleared things up within a day or two each time. It's possible there was an interruption during your sending of the e-mail that prevented it from being properly sent, or that your message (or their reply) accidentally got spam-filtered and missed. Perhaps try again with a different e-mail I assure you, the devs here won't ever intentionally not do their best to help you out
