Rate my Randimar's Rarities

I agree with BVD. Heartripper is nice and unique staff. Only "Push 2" and higher token cost separate Colossal Hammer from Infused Greatclub, so I'd save those 500.

 

This week: Duncan's Leather Cap, General Jelom's Helm, and Juniper's Jumper. I think Randi has been reading the forums.

 

Cadefel's Savage Maul is the only legendary I'm considering at the moment. And I'll probably skip it anyway, because I don't want to do a Savage Curse + burst team. (For some reason, I really don't like playing against that kind of team; win or lose. And I generally don't want to use that strategy myself.)

If DD keeps offering bad or mediocre legendaries, I might buy one from Randi later this week. I think Bynzer's Black Spear is my best pick - better than second copy of Azgul's Orb, Nasrum's Moccasins or Quellic's Boots.

 

Are you saying that Bynzer's Black Spear and Azgul's Orb are mediocre? The spear is propably the best vampire weapon and the orb the best arcane item with firestorms. I can understand you not liking these items, if you don't play vampires or FS wizards at all.

 

Not at all. What I meant, that if Daily Deal doesn't give any earth shattering / out of this world legendaries (Blue Destruction or something like that) the whole week, I will have the gold to buy one solid legandary from Randi. But I'm not pulling the trigger until Saturday.

 

New week, new rarities. Got some nice/awesome staves, hopefully Daily Deal delivers only duds next week, so I can afford all three.

I've been saving money so I can be sure to get the good EttSC items when they show up, but I grabbed The Strongarm anyway because I don't have one yet.

 

A fine choice. I bought The Strongarm last week, and I certainly don't regret it. I've been using it a lot in pretty much every kind of warrior build. I might go as far as to say it's one of the most powerful legendaries in the game.

This week, Randi has The Hackmaster again - which is remarkably similar to The Strongarm. That Pulverizing Hack is a very expensive card!

For me, the best items available this week are

• Bleneth's Frenzy Medallion (But I have one already.)
• Porior's Nimble Mace
• Superb Trickery

The rest are items I wouldn't consider buying unless I had excessive amounts of gold. (eg. Mokk's Boots)

Superb trickery could be cool. But Cautious Mobility is so powerful that I I'd feel like I'm handicapping myself if I swapped it out without a very good reason.

Similarly, Porior's Nimble Mace is the kind of weapon I might use if I didn't have The Strongarm. It feels a shame to me that many interesting items get overshadowed other obviously powerful items. I sometimes wish The Strongarm had Ouch! (or some other negative card) instead of Weak Strike. Weak Strike just isn't bad enough to counter-balance all those Strong Hacks.

 

Randimar was slightly more generous than normal this week. I'll be picking up
Trained Evasion - Last Elf Skill I don't have
Quellic's Boots - One of 5 boots I still need
Clovidian's Mail - Last Heavy Armor I don't have

I don't know if I'll use any of them, but it gives me a decent shot at reaching 99% before June.

Searing Pain for MP. Mordecai's Staff of Magma for SP and leagues. Staff of a Million Embers is the most replaceable and lowest priority of the 3 unless you specifically want to build a burning wizard.

Wouldn't get any of them though I really really don't like Lunging Bash so take it with a grain of salt.

You just made The Strongarm even more op. All 8 damage attacks and a cycling trait? Yes please.

Staff of Pain if you want to make a Flash of Agony farmer. None of them are must buys.

I've never heard of the Tenderizer, that should mean something. Take the skull.

 

I've bought two skulls without any hesitation. I think that's my limit. If you like Savage Curse and you don't have any skulls, buy it.

I wouldn't buy The Tenderizer because I have plenty of White Katanas. I also prefer Dancing Cut over Strong Hack.

 

That's exactly what I've been doing while waiting for Strongarm. Porior is also great for a Lunging Bash/Crushing warrior.

These are my favorite boots and I use them all the time in SP farming.

I totally agree, though my burning wizards usually use Staff Of Embers instead.

 

I would like to say that The Lunginator isn't so bad. It has good movement, can be buffed with martial traits, (unlike Bejeweled), can be used for control, and getting rid of blocks. Bejeweled is certainly really good, but if you find yourself short on gold power tokens, don't completely dismiss it
