Of course this is a minor thing.
But something that puzzles me is that Backbiting Strike only does 3 selfdamage when it does connect. I feel you should pay the price for using it any way - it is supposed to be a bad card, as it is now it is inconsequential block bait.

So here is a question: If your opponent blocks Short Perplexing Ray should you still get to move 1?

Also, Berserk Spin always deals 1 damage to the attacker even if the attack is blocked. There has to be some reason for this.

I don't value a consistent mechanic among similiar cards higher then a consistent downside to backbiting. And yes, i actually would allow a mage to move 1 when he spends a silver card and sends a SPR his opponents way, no matter how that opponent deals with it. I would even open up scouting run, if it wasn't part of a broken item already. But thats, how do they say, off-topic.

Eh, even if Backbiting Strike always deals me 3 slashing damage, even when blocked, I have Reliable Mail half the time anyways.

I'm guessing that's because Berserk Spin doesn't have a target, it's similar to a very personal Firestorm.

Less than a question of 'should,' it can't, unless we recode how a lot of things work. Which is possible, and conceivably not much work, but definitely not worth any amount of work to us right now.

And yeah, Berserk Spin might seem similar but it works differently. Yay idiosyncrasies!

As for the opening post, I appreciate the feedback Robauke. And I think I agree! But this won't happen anytime soon.
