Hey guys, this week I got 3300gp and a really good Randimar - Aranak's Chain Web, Chartwell's Ring, Juniper's Boots, Knife Of St. Blenko, Quick Jon's Axe, Staff Of A Million Embers and the other legends/epics i already have except Untrained Tactics, which seems nice. I have Elves deck, anti-Elves deck (2 wars and a Path-of-Knives wizard) and a Firestorm deck with staffs like Charring Staff, White Flame, Staff Of Blazing Sparks, 2xStaff Of The Fire God, Staff Of Soot and I'm wondering if Mill. Embers will be a good addition (esp. with savage priest). Juniper's Boots seems awesome for every occasion, as does Quick Jon's Axe. Chartwell's Ring is another great Firestorm addition and I'm really wondering what should I take, so help will be appreciated

For the past 3 or 4 weeks i have been getting VERY bad items in Randi's but now its gotten me good items (at-last)
    Legendaries:
Axe Of The Titans - interesting mix of items and strong, but is it worth for (majortoken)(majortoken)
Blog's Club Of Evasion - worth after the nerf? - i think dodge is still usable but what do other people think? its also only (minortoken)(minortoken)
Crazy Sal's Halberd - Probably the best item here but what do others think - i dont want to wast my gold on it if its not too great
Hand Of Wicna - an ok item but is it worth buying or just using The Soulstone / other epic items like it
Quick Jon's Buckler - again after the nerf i am not sure if its worth it but if you have like 8 dodges in your deck i think its ok to use
    Epics:
None of them are good except maybe Crespin's Shroud
Please help decide which items to pick - and as always dont worry about how much gold i have, just say which items i should buy. ;)

IMHO Staff of Million Embers is the best out of all those items.

Crazy Sal's Halberd (at least to me) seems to be the best choice. Others you can easily skip. (Quinn's Buckler is better than Quick jon's, Shielding Token is better than Crespin's Shroud, etc...)

I have a crazy dream to make an ultimate Dodge character just for fun. It would have 12 cards of Dodge :D (elf warrior could have 14, but I don't play those)

    Hello everyone.

This week Randimar is teasing me with the following 2 Legendaries and 1 Epic that after spending my cash last week on a couple of Epics and Whiteflame now means I have to grind and make a choice from:

    Bern's Untouchable Mail
    Garalem's Boots

and the one Epic I'm thinking would be well worth the 500GP:

    Sarigo's Rod

On another note - I think the RNG is telling me to build a Fire Wizard as the first two MP gold chests have dropped Barnum's Staff quickly followed by Smoag's Bucket Of Pitch.... Seeing as I picked up Whiteflame a couple of days ago in the Daily Deal I may have to work out how one of these pesky Fire Wizards works (I think some experiments in SP may be called for).

    :)

You know, that might be the best use for Forward Thinking. Hmmm. . .

EDIT: although 3x Dodge still isn't as good as 2x Skillful Dodge (aka Old Dodge). But you should try it and let us know. Or maybe I'll try it sometime.

These are the ones I recommend most. Note that Staff Of The Inferno is for SP farming only, and you don't need more than 2.

This will help all your SP parties. I bought one myself just last week to add to my 2x Azgul's Orb.

I often use 4 for the trait cycling. Some players use 6, but I like to have 1 wiz without Combustible, for survival's sake.

Hello guys, i am a relatively new player and firstly i want to thank everyone who contributes to this thread and the Daily Deal thread. They have been very helpful for newcomers like myself (i don't want to single out anyone but peonprop has done a very nice work in the Daily thread).
This week Randimar has several nice items for me and i would like to ask some advice about what to buy. Those that have caught my attention but i am not sure about are:
    Bern's Untouchable Mail
    Boxton's Red Pendant
    Mokad's Reeking Skull
    Rolf's Reliable Platemail
    Wym's Lavastaff
    Yount's Chain
    Petochl's Sword
    St. Olf's Fiery Pike

I have already read that the Lavastaff is a great item but i have several other fire based staves so i am not quite sure if i should buy it or not (i have 3 Staff Of The Inferno, White Flame, Staff Of A Million Embers, and also the not so focused Black Walnut Staff, Staff Of Blazing Sparks and Mordecai's Staff Of Magma).

Bern's Untouchable Mail Arrogant armor is a very unique item, if you want it there's nothing better than this - but generally it's not a high enough priority to fit into a build. So unless you have plans for it, can probably skip. (Secret of Elder Mind is the one place where this is always great.)
    Boxton's Red Pendant Skip
Mokad's Reeking Skull Has interesting uses, but can probably skip.
Rolf's Reliable Platemail If you want to go really tanky, but again I'd probably skip.
Wym's Lavastaff If you play SP much this is absolutely worth getting, if you're more of a MP guy then you can probably pass if you have limited gold, but it can even be useful in some leagues.
    Yount's Chain Skip
    Petochl's Sword Skip
    St. Olf's Fiery Pike Grab!

Short version, for SP I'd rank them Wym's then Olf's passing on the rest, for MP I'd reverse that order.

I'm a strong proponent of using 6 until you have enough tokens to fit Wym's Lavastaff (assuming you have it). It's rare enough to draw Combustible on all three wiz that I don't worry about it. Though these days I use two Wiz and a Warrior for levels 2-3 since I have 3x The Strongarm, so it's only 6 Inferno's for the Level 4 adventures.

It turns out I'm very good at drawing combustible on all three. Repeatedly.
I really hate some of the things I'm very good at.

Thanks a lot for your advice. Funny thing is that today a Fiery Pike dropped in sp, so i guess i will just buy the Lavastaff.

I would buy all of them - Searing, Vibrant Pain and Troll's Ire :) . in this order -> Vibrant Pain -> Searing Pain -> Troll's Ire

It depends on what build you're making, really. Searing Pain is a great item for non-Instant Burn fire mages and a good item otherwise (take that into consideration, since only half of the cards are fire spells), it's just so so good. Vibrant Pain is amazing if you have a good buff (Mass Frenzy) priest, but other than that it's pretty situational.

Since I like wizzes buy Searing Pain first. :p

Terminology cops here! Priests are never burfft priests. (Unless the expansion changes this somehow.) Burfft only exists, currently, in the marriage of priests and wizards.

Oh sorry. I guess what I meant was buff priest. :p
