So when will the Expedition to the Southern Continent expansion be released?

 

Since this is the wild speculation thread, I'm guessing . . . April 1st?

 

April 1st it will be announced. I can pretty much guarantee that.

 

I did not see this one coming. If, as has been hinted before, EttSC consists level 19-21 modules, maybe the starter adventure party is so that new people can buy the expansion and dive right in even if they don't have high-level characters handy?

 

Me neither, though we should have since the previous expansion had a special starter party.

April Fool's , err 1st, announcement. Don't place your hopes too high. Blizzard was notorious for messing with its player base

 

I don't believe Jon would resort to petty messing-around with the players unless he thought it was really funny.
He will have his little inside jokes and the like, but he strikes me as one who wants his design as well-balanced and flawless as possible before turning it over to beta testers. It won't be ready until it's ready, and when that will be can be a very difficult thing to know.

Is this one of the pre-made parties, or something else that was temporary? I didn't see anything when I bought the expansion.
