So, since the latest changes, some items will have become more useful. I was already using Atlatl Of Zuma for low-level SP adventures, but the change from Healing Benediction to Healing Pulse seems to make it the only option for a tokenless Priest/Wiz/Wiz party - being able to get another spell from a Wizard in round 1 or 2 gets before he dies gets you through the adventure that bit faster. Any others you've spotted which have improved?
St. Amarack's Cudgel was and is still the best option for a low level support priest, even more so with the new MF.
Yes, I was forgetting about the frenzy boost for magic - maybe it's not the best option now. Must have a look through my collection and see what I've got.
Sell 5, maybe? I don't play mine either. They're not bad, but I have better. I'm trying to think of something worth adding to this list, and coming up blank. Some things got a little better, some things got a little (or a lot) worse. Some things are kind of fun, and some just changed. If everything reverted, I wouldn't miss the changes.
Here's some improved items I think are relevant for MP: Quinn's Buckler is now tokenless, making it an interesting option. Cautious Mobility went from one of the best elf skills to... an even better elf skill. Elf warriors are more viable than ever. The new Winds Of War is awesome, it makes items like Runestone or Blood Locket cool again. Desperate Block is much better. Apprentice Ferocity might be on par with Raging Battler now. Healing Rays is actually pretty good now, and with the new healing burst, might make healing priests a bit more viable. Items like Glinting Eye Hammer or priest skills might see more play.
I don't want to give away my obvious to anyone paying attention secret but hey here I go Sword Of The Lion is now much better due to the pulverizing attacks now being less damage whereas Mighty Hack is still 13 and SotL has 3. I have had limited success (mostly because I make dumb moves when I am tired and I have been tired a lot this month) using SotL with an AoA build since 2 SotL and 1 Infused allows for 2 Pulverizing Bludgeon, 6 Mighty hack and 2 AoA, along with the 4 minor attacks on the Infused and the 6 Predictable Stab which is a questionable card (3 damage taken when it is blocked) but no worse than Bludgeon.(Yes I know no step attacks) The new WoW is sweet and I am ready to revive my Runestone/ Punishing Bolt wiz, which is a nice synergy since technically Punishing Bolt is a 0 attack and terrain attachments don't get affected by Squeamish Thanks for the reminder Vakaz. I have also liked Glinting Eye, but the Raging Strike is still a dangerous item with the huge number of Buffed Burst wiz out there. Finally anything with Unholy Wellspring is better +4 on melee is big especially in light of the MF nerf. I wish they had nerfed Savage curse along with Mass Frenzy since SC + UW = +7 to magic attacks which by itself is gold level damage for a spell and despite the card discard with the popularity of burst attacks you can do 10 points to 2 targets plus attachment damage with ember burst and with the odd numbered edge (meaning the last card cast is free from the the penalty) add an inspiration and a wiz can cast 2 +7 damage attacks with no penalty a in a round... AKA OUCH! IF I had 2 of the 6 burst staffs I would so use this type of build it is very hard to overcome. You can turn a wizard into a movable mortar firing shells across the board. I'm ever so slightly annoyed by the improvement to Desperate Block. I don't remember reading about it and it is now harder to trigger and a change of 1 on a d6 roll is always big.
