Don't you guys just love it when you play against Dwarf wizards? It's my favorite team to play against. And with the current map rotations, it makes it even more fun to play against them! Isn't it enjoyable when after after spending time to move your elf/human warriors and priests right up to them, they just use a RING OF APPROPRIATION or SOMETHING, and winds of war, gusts of war, telekinesis, maze, force cannon, force bolt, and just blow your characters away? Or when you finally land a blow, and the have freakin TOUGHNESS or PARRY! I mean, it's just sooooo much fun to play against these teams, Ima have to give a big round of applause to anyone who plays these 24/7 P.S - Then they use lava or volcano, but they have RESISTANT HIDE OR TOUGHNESS OR TELEPORTER TRAIT OR SOMETHING ERRRMYGURRD RAAGGEE
Yep, a laugh a minute! They were less fun before the nerfs. Except, of course, when 3DC builds all used Trembling Staves and Robes of Levitation. Waiting for 2 or 3 Combustibles to show up, then popping off a Firestorm was great, provided you enjoy ragequits. Humming Randy Newman's "Short People" as the burns hit really set the tone for me. Didn't do it a lot, because it involved MP, but it was a lot of fun.
3DC is meat to: • aggro elves played cautiously • triple human priests • any artillery-style build • my current ranked build But maybe I shouldn't talk; I was one of the only people who actually enjoyed the challenge of fighting against 3DC pre-AotA.
False. The newer variations all make quick work of elves with high-damage output in Obliterating Spark / Flash of Agony / Volcano. Step dwarves have a much better shot against 3DC than aggro elves. I've had perfect X-Strike draws (two combos in the first 3 rounds) against 3DC that didn't pan out to a win, even after managing to kill 2 of the 3 mages. I lost my entire team to damage.
Dwarf Wizards......must be me then. I believe we made it 2 each at a draw Fifjunior? Maybe I'll throw in a priest with frenzy to up the damage once the changes take place.... Still first time I made it to a purple chest.
