In another thread there is a amongs other things a conversation about Tough Bark.
It is now also immune to slashing attacks but i was pretty sure that was not always the case, since i used a lot of Bejeweled Shortswords when i played the tree adventures regulary and i would have noticed if more than half of my weapons were useless against the trees.
So i went to the wiki and checked the revision history and it was indeed only immune to piercing. To confirm that the wiki is correct i also played the first part of Black Oaken Heart.

I found nothing about changes to Tough Bark in the Announcements or Testing Section of the forum.

Now i just want to know if that was a mistake and if it gets reverted back to the original only piercing immunity? If it was intentional, i would really like to know why?
Because it makes no sense that wood be immune to slashing attacks and also to be immune from 2 types of melee attacks is just no fun.

Huh, that is surprising. (I didn't notice because I only use wizards in most SP maps.) If Tough Bark needed a buff, it would make more sense to be immune to Piercing and Crushing.

I still swear I beat the trees Tough Bark with chops nine months ago. Screwy memory I guess.

Not all of them have the card (only the oaks and one of the maple trees), and the ones that do may not have drawn it in time.

I distinctly remembering Raging Strike hitting a tree and revealing Tough Bark for the first time. I was like, Whaaaat! There goes 7 damage. (RS is piercing btw)
As for the rest, I'm sure my warrior was testing out his Axe and I feel like I should remember something as stupid as a chop getting negated by a card that claims not to negate it. Maybe it did happen, I can't be sure. Oh well! That's what Sundering Strike is for.
