Now that I've hit the loot-collection end game, I was looking for reasons to renew my club membership in a few days, but I don't really have any except to keep the server running... Perhaps club membership could offer a discount of 10% in the in-game equipment shops?
Very good! I was thinking too that there will be little reasons soon to be a club member. Since it will be so much easier to buy every item you want from the shops, the extra drop from loot chests is worth less. And also since farming is slower, we can get that extra item from SP fewer times too. So something extra for being a club member would be nice.
Club membership already gives extra items, which means a better chance at higher rarity items and more gold overall. Adding a 10% discount would add to the existing advantage and make membership more attractive. Fair? Dunno. Maybe.
For the game to prosper, Blue Manchu need more money, so why not give players more incentives to support the game financially. This would be a good step towards becoming financially solvent so they can hire more people to work and support the game.
Don't forget the brown chests, and I'm afraid I don't see where the " * 0 " comes in. In any case, 10 pizza a day for the club should probably buy more than it currently does. Particularly for those who don't play so much.
A multiplier on the order of 1 will have minimal effect on the infinitesimal chance I currently have of dropping a new item.
Ah. I can attest that the chance isn't infinitesimal, just exasperatingly tiny. The fact that desirable items sometimes drop onto the pillow has probably sold many a club membership.
Next time it happens BM has my $10... ^_^ ...but it's been a couple weeks since I even dropped anything new in a club-eligible chest. Admittedly, gold farming would be slower, but I've hit my limit with that.
