I had an Igneous Scorchstaff drop in a treasure chest the other day (This weekend Saturday or Sunday) and when I went to equip it today it was not in my inventory. I dont get Legendaries too often so I remember when it happens. I would not have sold it (I checked Randimar's just in case) and I looked to make sure it wasn't on one of my characters not in play. Any ideas?
Was it a league chest (or purchased chest)? If so go back to the chest shop and see if it's still sitting there. Unlike loot chests, purchased chests don't automatically go to your inventory if you leave without claiming it. It just sits there until your return to be claimed at that point.
Check the campaign treasure store as well as the lobby (multiplayer) one. They maintain their inventory separately which is dumb and which is something I'm planning to fix.
I will check that tonight when I can play and update. I dont remember if it was a loot fairy or league chest (I think Loot Fairy) I just remember hearing the Legendary music seeing a staff from AotA and hoping it was a Heartripper... then deciding how I felt about Instant Burn
And you happen to know all about attempts. Sry Jon, i know you're a busy man. I would just have let it rest.
