Looks like the tracker page got punked. Any objections to a reset?

So we only have one hour to get first dip on the loot fairy this time, according to my calculations.

    @Sir Veza - what?

LF is in The Viscous Tombs!
    Edit: UURR(R)
And the tracker was punked again when I reported it there.

What do you mean when you say punked...?

The first time, most were set to 'confirmed absent'.
The second, the LF was confirmed in Raid on Ommlet.

Sounds like some lout is in need of IP banning.

The Raid on Ommlet was marked unknown by the same IP that marked it as present within less than 1 minute. I'd guess someone misclicked.
Also, no one has changed it away from Viscous Tombs, right?

Right. I know things get messed up by accident more often than on purpose, and it's good to be able to tell whether it was a troll. Finding most of the adventures (I think it was levels 3-17) set to 'confirmed absent' 11 minutes after start time might have been innocent as well, but it looked kinda trollish to me. Thanks for checking into it!

We'll see if this kind of thing persists. Be sure to tell me of any abnormalities you witness, with specifics (e.g. which modules were marked what when) so that I can find which IPs are responsible. I'm always going to err on the side of inaction, but I am definitely keeping my eye on things to the best of my ability and want to make sure that the tool remains useful :)

Most were marked "not present" with a few others marked "not checked" 10 minutes before the most recent fairy move. The fairy's actual location then (Return Astral) was "not checked".

Might have been someone started too early without realising it.

I wondered about that. When I first saw it there were no gaps in the middle - just a long line of 'confirmed absent', and I've never seen a pattern like that during a hunt. But with what Kalin reports, it may indeed have been one or more players who started early.
If so, I'm saddened that they put in all that work and missed the first dip. :(

Edit: Holy Monikers, Jarmo! You've been snow griffined, and I'm dubbed a deified plowboy! I'm not sure what exactly they did to Kalin.

Well, just imagine, a new user of the tracker hits the page, sees a bunch of radio buttons: what do you expect him to do? This is only going to get worse if lots and lots of new people start using the forums regularly. Oh, the first time I saw that site, I randomly clicking some of those buttons myself (yes, I confess!). Only then I red all the info/instructions.

TL;DR; I would make the page"read only" (guests cannot modify the buttons status), and setup a password for you to be able to edit the current tracker status. The password would be handed out to trusted users (Jarmo, Veza, etc etc etc)

I know this partially defeats the crowd-sourcing aspect of the tracker but that'd mean you don't risk vandalism disrupting people's work. Oh, and users without a password could still just post here and let everybody know about the modules they completed and if they found looty.
