For announcement like "Gold Leagues are Coming", not only in the forum/the loot fairy page, could you simply put it in the login page directly? To be honest, I don't even notice it until yesterday from the lobby chat. Not all people will go to the forum/the loot fairy page ... Thank you.
The gold leagues are already mentioned on the login page. That text has been up for a while, now. The Portentous Proclamations text currently says: "Tried a league yet? Check out Death March and Graveyard Gambol, gold entry cost leagues. Win epic and magnificent chests! Picked up the Aota bundle yet? Can you best the fearsome Coatldile and the terrible Mind Flensers?"
In case this wasn't clear: I run the Loot Fairy Tracker (and associated Sorcererers guild website). I keep the league schedule and Card Hunter news updated myself. The Card Hunter website, on the other hand, is run by @Jon & co. at Blue Manchu— of which I am not a part. Different people run the two sites, and I (the guy responsible for the news page) can't just go edit the Card Hunter site.
I have suggested that several times but seems that they prefer losing players for a bit of free advertising on Twiter. And you're not the only one who missed the gold leagues, I have encountered many players in the MP lobby that didn't know about them or thought that the price was still 50 pizza.
