[Suggestion/Rebalance] Bash items cost too much!

We all know that Bash isn't very popular nowadays. The designers obviously planned it to be a hearthstone of a separate warrior strategy, but failed, since the step attacks proved to be much more effective. I am trying to make a decent Bashing build for a long time, and decided to request a rebalance of some key weapons.

Hammer Of Bashing should cost (majortoken)(minortoken) instead of (majortoken)(majortoken). Really, is Bash so wonderful to justify such immense price? Even if someone would play three Hammers of Bashing, he wouldn't inflict as much damage as the most popular weapons; AFAIK the "standard" is 8 damage per attack now. Even if a character has three Bashes in his hand, the first one inflicts 8, the second one 6, and the third one only 4. I wouldn't play three Hammers even for (majortoken)(minortoken), not more than two.

Stout Club should cost (minortoken)(minortoken) instead of (majortoken)(minortoken). I doubt it's going to be popular even after the change, but at least it would be more or less playable.

Unbalanced Greatclub also should cost (minortoken)(minortoken), and I also doubt in its playability even for that price.

Goblin's Club and Rotting Club should be tokenless. We all know a lot of tokenless weapons much better than these.

I am asking for these changes not because I have these weapons and plan to use them; I want to make the bashing strategy really playable that would obviously be good for the game. Everyone would agree that having only one winning strategy (read: NS) leads to dullness and loss of interest to the game.

The martial skill with 2 traits and a Weak Bash could also be tokenless, the list goes on.

  3. Bashes have been strong in Triple Duel (and Chess Madness, to some extent). I imagine bashes will continue to be interesting in the league format.

Pressing bash may also help make bash decks viable. At least it unlocks some new possibilities in SP maps such as Jewel of Alet Zhav and Tomb of Tvericus.

The largest concern I have is a dearth of no-token bashing weapons. But, again, AotA changes that to some extent.

I wasn't talking about items with Pressing Bash, there are many good such items. I was talking about good old Bash. I've tried to make a good bashing warrior for Triple Duel but failed :( I guess I could do something more-or-less effective with Eixocl's Hammer, but I don't have it. Many items with Bash need a discount.

The only abusable situation with Bash is if you have 2 priest feeding card to the warrior with a hand full of bash and a target locked in place.

In other situation with normal card draw, I agree that multi-Bash underperforms compared to standard warrior attack.

Heck, they even reveal themselves whenever your attack hits.

I really doubt it could be abused even with extra cards: Bash offers no movement! So if you bash someone away, you should move to him yourself, receiving an attack after the move.

I mentioned the scenario that the target is locked in places, having his back against a wall

You can add all items with Barge in your list. I guess developpers assumed that attacks with pushback were too good in order to keep the victory squares.
I wsih they did with WWs what they did with barges.

Barge is silver and WW and WWE are bronze. Makes sense lol. Going near your opp and Barging him is crearly too OP. Better stay where you are safe and move all opps away with 1 card :p
