I'm trying to change the figurine for a new 10 level character I just got from the tavern, and I can't figure out how to switch it. I'm wanting to use a figuring I bought with a while ago with some pizza but I can't get it to "switch out". I am allowed to use a figuring for more than one of my toons right?
Visit Cuthbert's Costumes and drag any owned costume to your selected character. (you can have the same costume for several characters)
Ok looks like the problem was I was trying to use a priest figurine for a warrior. Any way around that?
No, the skins only match up with the correct class. Make sure to use the correct filters to see which ones you have available for the specific class/race combo.
Given the same topic basis and short length of this thread, I'm going to just add my bit on here: WHY are the figurines class exclusive? They provide no mechanical boosts, so other than racial association, there doesn't seem to be any reason to lock them. Is it solely so that people can guess class off the bat in pvp? If so, that's a pity, because not only is repurposing figurines one of the enjoyments of tabletop, but a lot of the figurines would fit other classes just as easily [and fill holes in the fairly small thematic selections available (eg, one female fire wizard, one dual wielding male elf)]. To be more precise, I REALLY want to use the second female elf priest figurine for my elven warrior- It's a pirate-y elf with a short sword, a morningstar-flail, and a glare. I'm pretty sure she can be whatever she wants, y'know? Unless it's too hard-locked into the system, is there a reason we can't make them un-class-locked and just give another indicator of class? Alternatively, just give me a similar avatar for my warrior ;P
It's actually extremely important that figures not confuse your opponents in PvP. If anything our current selection of costumes makes this too easy. Sorry you find it a pity.
