Loot Fairy Tracker

Just wondering if anyone else had confirmation of it since and wanted to speak up (since it got confirmed present again, right?)

Well it was marked as present in the tracker, but so were three other wild goose chases, so I'm not sure that I'd rely on anything past your post unless someone remembers getting it at a specific time. (I tend to think that it's still moving at noon UTC and today was a human based goose chase, whether intentional or not. But, it's worth posting info until we confirm.)

 

URRE(R) at Cockroaches , T-3 hours. Remember people, it's not when you FIND the loot fairy that matters, it's when you LOG IN that determines where it is.

I'm not sure that's correct. Loot drops are generated on the server (to avoid abuse), and the server shouldn't care (or even know) what time you began your session.

I believe a loot fairy flag was identified in the server response containing treasure drops, so the client wouldn't know about the loot fairy's location until you actually encounter it.

 

I can vouch for this, log in 3 minute before the loot fairy is supposed to reset, try to finish the adventure, did not make it in time and got no fairy.

Edit: Adventure lock out also follow this rule. As long as you finish an adventure after the server's reset time, it will be locked up for the rest of that day. If you make it in time, relog back after the server reset and you can play that advanture right away.

My guess is the fairy will still move at noon UTC. Someone was just interfering with the tracker page. Flaxative, can you see the IPs that change the page? Maybe send the offending IP to Blue Manchu if they're willing to notify the perp that they're under probation.

 

I didn't build any kind of tracking in yet, so nope! I'll work on that if it happens again.
