So something I haven't noticed, does Stone Feet (which is armor) get discarded by Acid? And if not, should it?
It has the keyword armor, so I'd say yes, even if it's an attachment. But I don't believe it does tbh, since acid effect says discard, and you dont' "discard" attachments, if I remember my lingo. Edit: Correction. Attachments are "discarded" (checked the How to Play glossary). So yes, Stone Feet should be affected - logically.
Well if that's the case any moderator feel free to move this to the "Bug" forum and adjust the subject accordingly.
I'll move it to the bug forum and we'll see what Jon says, on (un)intended design - or bug. If anyone tests it, let us know.
Those armor discard effects explicitly cause the target to discard "Armor card(s)"—attachments are not cards in hand to be discarded. And can attachments be "discarded" ? Purge effects "destroy" attachments.
It's still mentioned as a card when attached as per this info, and mentions discard, so I'm still not convinced it shouldn't. However, could just be a case of mixed up semantics that this card is the first to have caused to come to light.
I actually don't have a problem with it, but if it is to stay the way it is, I think there should be some clarification text added: "This card cannot be discarded by actions that affect armor." Or something of that nature.
No, because that would mean it's an armor while in your hand (same reason Righteous Frenzy is white and not orange).
I agree that it's confusing. The reason it isn't discarded by these effects is because it's not an Armor card, i.e. it isn't a grey card. Confusingly, it does provide an Armor effect and has the Armor keyword in its rule text. Clarification text on the card is probably a good idea.
