The Tracker's reset time might not be accurate anymore.
Everyone, keep your eyes peeled and let's try to be super detailed (time stamps etc) with our reports of finding the fairy in order to pin down the new(?) pattern.

I hope it's a standard change. If the times go random I doubt tracking will be worth the effort.

 

Yeah, other than people posting in here and being like "AHH I FOUND IT GET IT SOON..."

 

Which is good as long as you haven't exhaused your daily dungeon run looking for it.

I just completed Black Plume mountain for the first time, with the guaranteed reward of Blackhammer as well as the loot fairy.
Received CEEE (E), With one of the epics being Blackhammer.

 

Are you absolutely sure one was Common and not Uncommon? That's very anomalous otherwise. Did you see the "Oh! What was that?" Gary Loot Fairy pop-up dialog?

 

My timeline went like this: Yesterday after 0000 GMT and after AotA went live I get LF at Compass of Xorr. There is a server reset and I get LF at Black Plume. After 0000 GMT today I get LF at Black Plume again.

 

Well, I just wasted a lot of time beating Black Plume Mountain again. The Loot Fairy was not there (Saturday, April 26th at 12:25 UTC, that's 25 minutes past noon).

 

I set all the other locations on the tracker page to "Unknown" and "Black Plume Mountain" to "Confirmed Absent".

Attention, Cardhuntrians! The Loot Fairy is currently at large, whereabouts unknown. Presumed armed with a loot enhancement wand and dangerous to your peace of collective collecting mind. Any reports of confirmed sightings will be rewarded with a forum like.

 

I received the LF at Black Plume shortly before I posted, which was at 10am GMT. So the fairy reset at some point between 10am and 12:30pm GMT.

 

Loot Fairy is currently at "Ruby Demon Portal" (level 4). Thanks to whoever it was that found it just now and recorded it in the tracker!

Sounds like it just doesn't reset at midnight UTC anymore, but otherwise is in one location at a time (as before).

In a couple days, if the reset time appears random, I'll probably remove the countdown (and auto-reset) from my tracker entirely, leaving you guys with the radio buttons for confirmation and little else...
