Was able to equip and use a lvl 3 Blessed Demon Claw on my lvl 2 elf priest. And other higher lvl items on lower lvl chars. And was completely unaware I was doing so for the past few days Are item locks in place yet ? Or do item lvls have no significance ?
I noticed this too a while ago when my level 6 wizard put on a 13th staff. I'm assuming it give you an idea what areas it drops but at th moment it has no restriction to character. Dunno if they plan to change this
Yep, that's correct. For a while we weren't displaying item levels at all, but our alpha testers had a lot of trouble determining which items were better. Showing the level (which is a bit of an estimate) helped them a lot.
