Elves, man, elves... Anyone else using these leafy fellas? I've been rerolling new low-level parties when the quests reset, and so far my most enjoyable team has been three elven wizards. It's incredibly rewarding to dart out of harms way and tactically zap everyone to dust. Buuuuut... one of the reasons I've been trying out new parties each time is that I'm still pretty bad at the higher level quests: Lizardmen? A Billion Kobolds? Problematic. But I think one of my issues is the glass-fragile party I'm trying to roll with. Elven wizards gain very few HP, so I'm concerned if I try to muscle on with an all-elf, all-wizard party, my fragility is only going to get more pronounced. Anyone other elven players experiencing this? Should I bring my dwarven fighter out of retirement to act as a bodyguard (even though zone of control is walked all over by most foes...)?
elven warrior and dwarven wizard. trust me it works. the warrior needs the movement as dwarves just dont have enough movement even moreso at low levels due to cards to get into battle. Elven wizards just dont have enough hit points and die so quickly. As a wizard they dont need to move as much with long range sparks.
Great idea--I often find my elven wizards don't need to move far, just out of melee range. Hm... can we get a quest reset?
Yeah three dwarven wizards sounds like they have every advantage over elven mages except for possible movement cantrips to literally hit and run in one turn. But i dont think these skills are completely locked out to dwarves. Elvish Warrior might be the counter do Dwarven mage though ? Except i think the dwarf mage has MORE HEALTH than the elven warrior. Go dwarves \o/
