Bash attacks are pointless unless it is for protection plus the damage output of that weapon is simply horrible for 2 gold token.

If you have the funds buy it for some kind of bashing fun build if that mood strikes you.
But beware, you will soon realize that the fun switches fast to frustration and then donĀ“t blame me for wasting 500g. ;-)

Hey all, here are my goodies to choose from...
Kelharin's Clogs Seem like a great buy, i just dont have the cash :(
    Axe Of Evasion
Dark Chain Shirt Really considering picking this up, seems like a great no token chestpiece, currently using Glowing Hide Armor . Would love input on this
    Gaudekki's Orb
Greyworm Mace 3 great cards and 3 dead cards... hmm
    Mathiam's Helm
Staff Of Blazing Sparks never had a volcano card before... it seems really fun but idk if its really worth it.

Tough choices, input is always greatly appreciated!

When it comes down to a Bash Build ( a ridiculous thing if there ever was one), there are three main items you should consider: Hammer Of Bashing, Heavyweight Mace, and Basher's Delight. The latter provides you with 3 Lunging Bash, which is a good tech card in any deck. I can't see it being used in a normal deck given the cost, but certainly it would be ideal in campaign, or again as a more unusual build (VP defence W/Immovable ?). There really isn't a replacement out there for Basher's Delight, but it's 500G that are probably best spent elsewhere.

It's times like these I wonder what CH would be like if there was only 1 map to play on, as originally intended. On one hand it does seem boring, but on the other hand it does make you want to get creative with optimizing your build.

Darn, there are many people who would love to have a selection like that.

Kelharin's Clogs are pretty amazing if you can afford them. Buy them if you can and use them forever.
    Axe Of Evasion is junk
Dark Chain Shirt is nice tokenless (I use mine often in campaign) but it's not really worth 500 if there are better items to buy...
Gaudekki's Orb -Again it's nice but not worth 500 IMO. There are plenty of items out there with Firestorm to choose from.
Greyworm Mace- That's a great item. Two Nimble Strike and two Mind Worm are surprisingly good to have. Mostly the Nimble Strike. Buy.
Mathiam's Helm- I would prefer Major's Helm, but really there are better helmets out there than either of these. Pass.
Staff Of Blazing Sparks- There aren't better items out there. Buy this if you can, those Volcano are great to have available to you.

Thanks for the analysis, Jade, I'm going to buy it just for a collection :) Bash builds are really rare now, but I've met one few weeks ago and lost miserably. They hit you - you cannot respond immediately, if you don't have combo attack with movement. If you just move, they hit you again. Most importantly, they can easily move you out of victory area.
I have two Hammer Of Bashing. Unfortunately, all those maces cost two yellow tokens :(Maybe, the developers will issue some changes one day...

These are the best boots in the game, period. I'm jealous man! Get the cash. Steal the cash, break your savings box, sell all your property, but this should be bought at any costs :)

Actually the tokenless items with Firestorm are quite rare. I've bought this orb and used it in SP with a great success. But you can skip it if you are short on cash.
No dead cards here. Very good mace, you should buy it if you can.
Volcano is a very powerful card, though a bit tricky to use. It requires a perfect timing. This staff is nice to have, but you won't lose all the games without it :)

There are two items that you should buy at any costs: Kelharin's Clogs and Greyworm Mace. They cost 3000 gold = 600 pizza = less than $20.

Thanks so much for the input everyone, giving me a lot to think about. I currently have 1750 gold, so i could theoretically raise the money by weeks end for Kelharin's Clogs . Im currently using Lt. Buckwell's Boots , Salazar's Sandals and Argo's Boots so i dont really feel like im hurting in the boot department and im not sure how much of an upgrade it will provide. But, i trust your advice and i will go for it. I can definitly see the benifits of Greyworm Mace and i feel certain i will pick that up, and if i can i will get the Staff Of Blazing Sparks as well because it looks fun. I already have 3 tokenless firestorm arcane items along with 3x Staff Of The Inferno so i think ill pass on Gaudekki's Orb for now. I just use firestorm for farming gold, i dont think i will ever play it in multiplayer. Thank you all again for the input!

Let me explain things a bit. Every pair of boots with Team Run is excellent just because of immense movement and tempo advantage of this card. Dwarven teams, which are very popular nowadays, benefit even more from this card, since their regular movement is only 2. Officer's Harness is a weak armor, but it provides place in your hand for the more important cards and partially protects those cards from Perplexion Rays (I mean, it's better to lose the Harness than to lose something important). You have only one pair of Team Run boots, but Salazar's Sandals lose the competition by far since Rusty Armor is bad, and you aren't going to get rid of it easily.
BTW, congrats on having Lt. Buckwell's Boots! They are probably the best boots for a wizard, as Flanking Move really makes wonders for them. You're going to have two pair of the best boots now :)

Firestorm parties are actually quite competitive in MP. Anyway, if you have only 3 tokenless firestorm items, you should think twice about this orb, since farming the Diamond Mines will be much faster with a lot of Firestorms. I play with two mages + priest, and most tokens go to the staves there. Plus, Glob Of Flame is a very powerful spell.
Staff of the Inferno is very very dangerous; you're likely to kill yourself with your own Firestorms. I'd avoid it even in SP.

It's good in level 1 - 7 farming, I use two per wizard. You have more health than the enemies so one wizard usually survives even when the others are burned by Combustible. It's rather rare to draw it on all three and it can be played around when that happens. Usually you just quickly burn everything with all the Firestorms and Ember Bursts you're drawing.

Hm. I didn't go that far on the suicide line yet :) Going to try that myself.

Wow, I've never realized such beauty even exists!

I was going to mention Captain Cedric's Boots, they are definitely *Awesome* , better than or equal to Kelharin's Clogs. Of course, you can't really be picky, and Officer's Harness can be really good depending on your build.
Lt. Buckwell's Boots would be a great drop, or if you had the cash 2500 isn't that bad- although there are two comparable Epics which only cost a fraction.

  14. I think you are right, especially since Lt. Buckwell's Boots are tokenless. I kinda like Escaping Run and the Step/Bash for a spear warrior, but I dunno if I'd pay 2500.

I feel like Randimar's has been generous with me as of late.

Mordecai's Staff Of Magma : I just bought Staff Of Blazing Sparks so im not dying to buy this. ive never played a volcano build though...

Lochaber Axe : Finally, my first one!

Rhood's Boots : These seem really great and i would assume an instant buy

Whiteglow Flail : This would be my second one, and i did just buy a Greyworm Mace. That being said i think whiteglow flail is better and having 2 on a priest seems like it would be really good. I would love feedback on this if anyone has tried the combo.

All in all a solid week of good items. I better enjoy it while it lasts.

  17. Every week I suggest to Randimar via telepathy with increasing frequency as Saturday approaches, 'Sell me a Whiteglow Flail, Lochaber Axe, or Vibrant Pain.'

Those are the best three weapons with Nimble Stike, I believe. Buy the second Whiteglow Flail! The non-nimble stike cards on it are all good, unlike the Greyworm Mace or Rapier Of Misfortune.

Less good stuff every week :( Randimar doesn't like me at all... Just one Legendary, nothing really great.

Wym's Fiery Bangle - well I do collect good Firestarter items, and all three cards have good synergy with it, so I'm going to buy this. Yes, I know this isn't worth 2500 gold. But I have Wym's Fiery Pin, so I'll collect all Wym's trinkets and call my fire mage Wym :)

Banik's Bubbling Bauble - the only item I really like. Firestorm plus two movement cards needed for defense (or placing enemies on lava). What's not to like?
Elphala's Healing Ring - too weak for a token.
Lochaber Axe. Please don't call me names, but I don't like it. Right, it offers great mobility and decent damage, but two cards of six are extremely bad, and blue tokens are still tokens, you have only 4 of them. I have one and will probably buy this too, but I've never played it. Rapier Of Misfortune costs one token, which compensates for the drawbacks. I'd better try my Rageblood Dagger when I find tokens for it :)
Novice Stoutness. Reliable Hide is weak, plus I have one already. May be good in Firestorm decks though, where every piece of armor count... should think a bit about that.
Sarigo's Wand. All three moving cards may be nice, but I don't like Whirlwind. Too random for my taste.
Sergeant's Helm. How on Earth this may cost a yellow token??? I wouldn't spend a blue on this. Moreover, I suspect I wouldn't play it even tokenless :)

    Sir Veza Farming Deity

Sergeant's Helm should be renamed. A real sergeant's helm should be devious, lethal, and probably tokenless.

Randimar has an interesting spectrum for me this week - I'm limited on gold (as is typical for me) so help me decide if you have any thoughts!

    Legendaries

Raging Battler - Looks great, but would break the bank!
St. Hongjin's Soulstone Would be interesting in a Vampire build but not sure it's worth 2500.

    Epics

Healing Hand Mace Another interesting Vamp build item.
    Nimbus Blade

Rares - All things I have, but they're relatively cheap too...

Command - Have 1, would I ever want two?
    Crusty Helm - Have 1.
Focused Healer - Have 1, would 2 ever fly in a Vamp build?
    Shielding Token - Have 2.
