In Which Epic Items are You Fully Stocked?

Jarmo explained that it is normal to get many of one item and none of another in this thread. Those of us who grind a lot probably have an abundance of some items and an absence of others of the same level and rarity.

This is a list of the epic items I am fully stocked on (enough to fill all possible slots). In many cases I have been selling off the excess. Some I use, some I don't. Most I've found while farming a specific level range for items that do not appear in this list because I've found few or none of them yet.

    Arcane Item
    Booming Ring

    Boots
    Boots Of The Foolish
    Red Jon's Boots

    Divine Armor
    Cleansing Hide Armor
    Mageslayer Mail

    Divine Item
    Yolop's Talisman

    Divine Weapons
    Club Of Wrath
    Vigun's Blessed Blade
(Sold at least six of each of these)

    Dwarf Skill
    Apprentice Ferocity
    Raging Rock

    Elf Skill
    Untrained Footwork

    Heavy Armor
    Quornic's Armor
Sharp Shell (Sold at least 6)
    Sparking Shell

    Helmet
    Shimmering Helm
    Shimmering Hood

    Human Skill
    Apprentice Command

    Shield
    Cherry Shield
    Underdog's Shield

So I'm curious. Which epic or legendary items are piling up in your trove?

The game is clearly mocking me for the previous post. After completing only four low-level adventures tonight I've had these drop: the Epics Mageslayer Mail and Sharp Shell -- and a Legendary, Relic Of St. Darqar, my fourth :p.

Wow, just wow, immediately after writing the previous post the game turns around and in the very next adventure I complete it gives me two (2) Epic Staff Of The Infernos (my 4th and 5th). Thanks, Card Hunter!

There's definitely something weird in the air tonight.

Not really feeling like putting together the whole list (too much to type up at the moment), but I'll show my boots as an example. Mainly I find it interesting to see the differences it shows.

I prefer to beat as many full modules as I can each day, so I very rarely use the method of resetting the early levels of a module. Personally I like to get as many of the final chests as I can, and this way spreads my collection out over all the levels. Most of yours seem to be at the low levels, which I'd guess you've been focusing on to this point. However, I also have no sets of arcane or divine items.

9 sets of epic boots at the moment.

    Corian's Boots
    Lizard Hide Boots
    Lum's Moccasins
    Mithril Mesh Slippers
    Oliver's Boots
    Red Jon's Boots
    Ulalia's Boots
    Vinorkin's Boots
    Wlakwa's Boots

Looks like I don't do that much farming in comparison. I don't think I've played through the low levels more than 10-15 times... I have three Sharp Shells, that's it. For most epics, I have one, if any. And three Yolop's Talisman, yay. I don't think I've sold an epic yet, only a few rares. I'd love to find another Vigun's Blade, and another Axander's Twisted Circlet...

I have indeed. Initially I wanted a base of some good tokenless items, so I decided to grind for some. After a while I had one or none of the ones I actually wanted, and now I'm stubbornly beating on the machine in, "Come out, dammit! I know you're in there!" mode.

For breaks I still make runs up through the higher levels, but I don't spend nearly as much time there.

    Nice collection!

Farming the same level adventures again and again. I've been hitting e.g. level 6 Woodhome a LOT. That's when the same items pile up.

Well, we only listed the ones we have many of. In addition to that we have lots of epics with only one or two copies. This might give the false impression that getting many copies of one item is common while it's actually pretty rare (and totally random as to what you happen to get many copies of).

In my case (excluding treasure) I currently have 238 epic items of 107 types.
    - 49 are singles.
    - Several of the doubles showed up within an hour or two of each other and I haven't found any before or since.
    - I've found four-or-more of 27 items, although about half of these have been sold down to a 'max usable' of three. These drops tend to come and go in cycles.

I spend a lot of time speed farming levels I can complete in less than a minute with a decent draw and without changing gear. Lately I've been running L6 mines (1&2) and Woodhome (1), L8 Xorr (1 or 1&2), and L12 Tvericus (1).

Are there any speedy runs at higher levels? I've tried Yellow Dragon (1), but I can't make runestones work quickly and the ogres are decidedly uncooperative. I skipped several adventures while in a rush to get my renown up to 17, so I may have missed something useful.

It only takes one hour to farm all quests from level 1-6.

@Sir Veza: Would you mind posting your farming builds? Would be interesting to see.

The first battle of the level 17 adventure Dungeon of the Swamp King is somewhat doable (50% success rate for me) with a level 4 Firestorm dwarf wizard party (mine has 17 Firestorms). Survivability depends on drawing a Resistant Hide on at least one wizard within the first couple of turns. I run with some Short Perplexing Ray and Telekinesis which help keep the Ochre Slimes away.

It's not super quick but not bad and is quicker than my level 20 control wizard/nimbus priest/step warrior party with any level 17 battle. Maybe a higher-level wizard party (if you can keep the Firestorm ratio up) or switching one wizard for a (higher-level?) priest with lots of Savage Curse or Unholy Wellspring and/or Impenetrable Nimbus would be quicker? Or maybe resigning if you don't get a workable first draw would be quicker?

I tried also the other level 15-17 adventures and the level 15 Gnome and Wyvern ones are doable with the level 4 party (or I just got lucky with the one try). Wyverns seem a bit easier but slow because of the armor they draw. The babies can't harm you at range once you've drawn Resistant Hide so it's just a grind.

Might be worth giving these a go to see what happens. They are more interesting farming as there's more need to think.
