Excuse the silly name. But here are a couple of things I would love seeing, far down the line of what I hope will be a thriving and successful game. Right now this game is a strong 8/10 for me. In this post I'll sharing my opinions of what would make this game a easy 10/10 would recommend. 1. I would presume that this is already being worked on but either way I'll bring it up. Classes and Races. There need to be more, I would love more classes with their own little decks of cards, and perhaps new weapons for them as well. Either way I would love playing like a big orc berserker or stealthy drow assassin. Or even more creative sets of races and classes. But again, things like these I presume are being worked on. 2. Improved Custom Game editor. I'd like to dime it "Custom Campaign" where you can either create more campaigns much like the foundry over at "Neverwinter" for your fellow players to play. Including custom maps, like the one in the campaign. My idea for how you get maps would be either through being a club member or buying them outright with pizza. Perhaps even going as far as being able to create custom equipment with it. But that might be a bit hard to do. I for one, wanting to learn how to draw, would love to be able to submit new gear pieces to the folks over at Blue Manchu. Perhaps even drawing miniatures for them. Though that would require some kind of screening process. That I would gladly take upon myself. *Hint* *Hint*. But either way, back to the question at hand. This would probably require me to be able to set a custom limit for how many heroes there can be in each map. Like if I have 5 friends, I would prefer if all of them could join up in the campaign. I would want this, because I could see myself sitting down with my friends, and making a story much like in dnd. Where you can play around the game, me and my friends doing everything else outside of the game, but if combats comes, take it to Card Hunter. Also, much like in dnd, expansions could be built to this part of the game, that you can either buy outright, or get through the club membership. What are you're opinions? Are these things you like, you don't like? Discuss below.
Well, basically, the gm thing would do that. To clarify, you would be the gm, play it's monsters and so on verses your friends, who all play a single hero each. Thus making it co-op. This feature would not be for everyone of course, only people like me, who would like to use it to enhance for say, dnd games I wanna have with my friends. A third note. I think they should enhance the group capacity to max of 5 characters. With scaling hp, and possible abilite additions to enemy monsters if you play with more than three. Right now I feel slightly limited with my options. A fourth or fifth member would solve this. I would like to have a ranger, or fighter. Or just another mage.
You wouldn't have to do it. Not at all. This would only be an "Option" for those like me, who could see themselves using this as a tool to run their battles in campaigns for DnD and the likes. It would not be forced in any way. And if you hate it as much as you do. Then you would totally be able to ignore it. I just want to be able to make something similar too the SP game as it is now in multiplayer. Basically Co-op. I don't know why you wouldn't want that really.
The custom scenario editor (there's a whole board for discussion and posting results) does most of #2, except you can only play against one opponent. But each of you can control up to 5 groups of monsters if you want (or either or both of you can use your MP party).
