Just saying... my elf can get guaranteed 14 armour in one turn.

(btw this is not including card drawing buffs)
I just picked up boots with 2 officer's mail (4+ 1 armour don't count to discards).
    I have a helmet with 2 enchanted harness (all armour get's +2 to rolls, 5+ 2 armour)
    I have a heavy armour with 2 thickened mail (5+ 4 armour)
So if i draw all of these in one turn, 2 officers from previous turn, 2 others from previous turn, and draw the other 2 armour, i have all guaranteed full armour which is 2+2+1+1+4+4 = 14 armour per attack. Just thought somebody would be interested in this lol.

Also i can keep an average of 6 reduction before my new draws. U jelly?

Also this is just from one blue and one yellow token. I'm sure i could make it more if i had more tokens, anyone know any chestplates with 2 enchanted mail?

Yeah, and if i draw 4 Impaling Stab i can kill every single elf i meet, no matter how much armor they have.

    this thread is stupid.

Nah, it's not stupid - it would be an interesting experiment too see if anyone ever managed to draw all that armour, in reality. Also, as you say - it's only ever op vs someone who as no penetrating attacks.

Yes i agree this thread is "stupid" by the definition that it has no important point. But then what's the point of playing Card Hunter? And if you are calling me stupid for being interested in this or for using it, then i think that reflects worse on you.

Its stupid because you're creating a situation that will never realistically occur and making a big woha about it.

It would be like me talking about how my priest could technically draw 6 impenetrable nimbus over 6 turns and get damage immunity per turn, or drawing 4 penetrating cards. Its not just a worthless topic, it also adds no value whatsoever in a forum about tactics and strategy.

If what you wrote is is indeed the reason why you are using this setup, then you are stupid for the simple reason that you don't understand probabilities.

This thread: "woot, look at how awesome my set up would be if a situation that has a statistically negligible probability of happening actually happens!!"

This sort of statement applies to literally every deck you can make. The sort of "extremely overpowered if i draw exactly this, this, this and this at this time" situation exist everywhere. They just never actually happen.

Well, I am interested in what the items are.

And also the usefulness of officer's mail. I have always seen officers mail as a pretty useless card. 50% chance and only 1 damage reduction?

And does Enchanted Harness add +2 to it's own roll?

    It does.

Officer's Harness 's strength is in the long run. If you don't have to discard them, they will never goes back to your pile. Once you reshuffle your deck, you pretty much trimmed it out :).

Try Corian's Boots on a lvl 1 character to see how powerful this is.

If we continue down the road to why a thread exists then those posts, themselves, will cease to exist. That's basically about it. Please refer to the handy-dandy FORUM RULES for a refresher if anyone needs it.

Be respectful. Don't insult people who have a difference of opinion. Don't "start a fight" or "defend yourself" if someone does do that. This is an international community and everyone has different customs and different opinions, but one thing we all have in common is a desire to play Card Hunter. Lean on that.

It's exceptionally rare to actually go through your entire deck, especially far enough through it for that to matter.

As a new player, I just wanted to chip in that I have routinely gone through my deck in multiple scenarios, sometimes more than twice (never three though).
