I had a vague idea that something like this was happening, but recently in the last mission of Against The Cockroaches it was unambiguous. The door was still in place, but a cockroach went by it onto the side with Morvin.
huh? I don't understand the bug. Are you saying that the cockroach shouldn't be able to pass thru the door to Morvin's side ?
Yes, Phaselock. Gerry Quinn, it's a consequence of how figures in the game work. You can ALWAYS walk through an ally's square. It requires no special card. The deal here is that the developers, in a sudden fit of creativity, created a figure called "a door." It's really just a normal figure. By calling it "a door," it gives you something you can understand would block your characters from entering the next room. However, it's still just a normal figure, and the cockroaches can ALWAYS walk through their ally's square.
Okay, I did a test in 'Tunnels into Darkness' and you are correct. I had always been under the impression that you couldn't walk through allies, so I thought free moves might be different (I don't use them much). I'm not sure how I got that impression. Maybe it's down to the fact that the memorable tunnels where you would like to change order (the underground trogs one and Lord Stafford's treasury) are full of difficult terrain, in which your moves are reduced to one anyway. I guess I absorbed that you couldn't pass in these, and extrapolated to everywhere.
