Well, I'm up to level 8 so far. I realize it's not that far in to start posting suggestions, but one thing bugged me since I started checking out the topics around here. It seems the overall difficulty of the game was dumbed down multiple times, in order to appeal to the less patient kind of player that currently dominates the market. So I was thinking that maybe there could be an additional difficulty setting that ups the challenge a bit, maybe turning it back to how it was back then. Upon completion, you'd get either higher rarity items or just additional ones at the end of the dungeon (exp should stay the same). I understand I'm gonna get loads of difficult levels later on, but I don't see how this can't also apply to the beginning of the game, since so far I haven't lost a single adventure (I retried twice in the Throne of Strench though). The higher difficulty could also be a reason for experienced players to tackle end-game levels again with newfound threats.
Oh, that's good to know. Would've preferred to alter the difficulty from the beginning, but any kind of variant is awesome.
Some quests are just too hard if you open it up right away and have no gear for it. The baseline campaign is designed to get you a set of decent items, for both MP and difficult quests.
