Hi, ta for the power tokens - I just went to sleep after posting and didn't consider that the talents probably didn't make much sense ^_^ That staff does seem to be the only level 19 currently available (the only with a higher level is the White Star Diamond - level 30)
This is a great introduction to the board editor! I think it might be time to try and make some of my own maps...
Oh, good ! Let us know how the guides feel... There's still time for Farbs/me to recode/rewrite basic stuff so newbies understand what's going on. Planning more detailed board editor/custom scenario guides.
It's a really great intro. My own workflow is a little different -> I prefer to sketch out the board just using tiles and spawns, test gameplay, iterate on it, then polish and complete. So I don't bother with board edges, nice tile edging and decal placement until the end. I also try to keep in the habit of checking the terrain layer just before I save, since it's easy to muck that up and not notice. But then each person will have their preferred way of doing things.
yh, well...guide was written from the POV of a complete newbie so a ton of straight and dead handholding instructions. Parts which I find difficult to put in words were the empty label buttons in the palettes. Some name/label would be great !
The empty labels are from Ben's palette setup data. Go bug him One small thing I'd suggest removing from the board editor tutorial is setting the background. We don't actually use that data for anything, so it's work that isn't worth doing. All campaign games are played on a wooden table and all multiplayer games (including all MP and SP custom scenarios) are on green felt.
