I'd been running into problems with working out line of sight during games, and was trying to think of a simple solution. Part of the problem is when selecting a move card, then not being able to tell what the line of sight from the available space to move into is. What if when a move is selected, hovering over a destination space would show the line of sight from that space? At the moment we can tell the vision of our characters, and that of enemy characters, but it is difficult to know exactly what will be visible from a space we are moving to. Since we have this kind of mouse-over information on characters I was hoping it would not be too difficult to impliment for destination spaces as well.
It's good to get in the habit of checking enemy line of sight before you move, and using that to decide where to move. If an enemy can see a square, you can see that enemy from that square too. I know I've personally clicked the move card before checking a few times and then can't go back to look, but until the issue of not being able to cancel move cards is figured out then that's the best way to do it for now.
Certainly that is a very useful thing to do, but it is also useful to know what spaces your wizard will be able to cover from the square he moves to.
I'd like a button to show the whole terrain layer, and reassign right-click to show line of sight from the clicked square.
