Well, another build up quickly. This is mainly a bug-fixing release. The main issues are, hopefully, fixed stuttering on battle start and memory leaking from going in and out of the deck builder. There are also three new MP boards in the casual board list which will be going into ranked rotation soon if you all like them. The new in-progress adventures are now gone from the campaign. Finally, I made it so that you can quit out of target selection after stepping so you don't have to attack your own characters when they are the only targets after the step! Performance Prevented load attempt for unneeded art assets (should fix stuttering on battle start). Memory Management Fixed a huge memory leak caused by error handling in StreamingImagePool. Added asset pool size logging. Cleaned up some memory thrashing w/ temp objects in CardDisplay. Fixed a small bug in image streaming unearthed by previous fix in image streaming... Hints Updated hints - now mention party achiving. Prompts Added lose state hints to the following adventures: Trog Grotto, Rescue from Shieldhaven Prison, Diamonds, White Star, Beneath the Frozen Earth, Throne of Strench, Compass of Xorr, Stafford's Treasure and Melvelous the Magnificent. Fixed prompts from Throne of Strench appearing in other adventures. Campaign Removed unfinished adventures. Multiplayer Added new MP boards Cards Changed name of Healing Burst to Healing Pulse. Battle UI Players can quit selecting targets early after Step (in additional targets selection). Quests Fixed low level quest level restrictions. Modules fixed some typos on Temple of Scales module cover Internal Stuff Clean up logging of paypal callback events.
Here's a good place to start: http://www.cardhunter.com/forum/threads/cancelling-moves-thoughts-and-suggestions.1595/. And since it seems 85% of players think being able to cancel a move card should be a thing, hopefully the devs are considering it, at least.(Not sure if there's a definite 'no' or 'yes' somewhere already.) Edit: Actually, Jon hasn't even posted in that thread, but it's still a good thread to read about the whole canceling movement topic.
Step-Attack Discussion moved here because it may get more views/posts and because it's worthy of its own thread: http://www.cardhunter.com/forum/threads/feedback-allys-no-longer-targeted-in-step-attacks.2650/
