Item search is incredible! Great work. Now I know exactly what legendary weapon I hope to someday find

It made me realize something. Look at a search for Bash in Weapons. (The card with the specific name "Bash," and not any of the other "Bashes." I still say you should avoid "double-duty," using the same word as a category name and a card name.) Now search in Divine Weapons, then in Staffs (Staves?). Something seems funny here. Warriors, with their Weapons, get access to Bashes (sorry, I mean COPIES OF BASH) on more total items than other classes do, with the extra space at low levels counterbalanced by drawbacks. That's the logic I expected. But the talent costs seem funny: you jump from "one clear talent, has drawbacks" to "one bronze and one clear, no drawbacks" with almost nothing in the middle. There's the Light Mace with two clear talents, and that's about it. There is no middle-ground Weapon with, say, two copies of Bash. Given the complexity of other items (like the Crude Polearm with both Bashes and Stabs), I was expecting to find more possible items for a Bash-heavy Warrior build. And, no, I can't rely on Simple Bash for my Bruiser's build: it's almost exclusively on the same items. Given that Chop, Weak Chop, and Clumsy Chop are available for my Slicer's build at level 1, I would have expected differently. Does the Bash (or at least Simple Bash) need more love? Edit: Well, posted this just in time to miss the change from talents to power tokens.
Dwarves - natural moves = 2 squares Humans - natural moves = 3 squares Elves - natural moves = 4 squares I'll be adding and cleaning up basic gameplay guides in the wiki (moves, terrain, combat etc) in the coming weeks, bookmark the site in my sig or stay tuned

You have a typo in the card description: Divine inetrvention was the only possible explanation. Also, Guardian Angel is still showing in card sets such as St. Corin's Knife
Fixed, thanks. Nice eyes ! St. Corin's Knife, Angelic_Nimbus, Warrior's Shield, Guardian's Breastplate and 500+ items are no longer in game (removed after closed beta). These items are flagged as deleted, won't show up in categories and item search but the page still exists for contingencies. Is it confusing ? Should I remove them completely ?
You're not so bad yourself, sailor! Typing "Knife" into the search box brings up St. Corin's Knife as the first result, so perhaps a little confusing.
Gah, nothing I can do about the search box. Think I'll slate all deleted items for page deletes post game release.
Features I'd like to see: Links from cards to the items that have them. Also, items to starter packs and treasure hunts. Items no longer in the game have their names and/or page titles changed to say (deleted) or something so it's easier to tell what's actually available. Something similar for NPC-only cards. Categories for each card keyword, so you can get a list of all cards of type Projectile without all the ones that react to them.
1. This is already a feature of the wiki. On the left Toolbox menu of a page, you can click on 'What links here'. Is that sufficient ? For starter packs, you can access them from the Main page (Adventurers, Bash Bros, Elven Magic, Holy Healer, Fierce Dwarf). Treasure hunts are tagged to adventures which will come later. 2. All deleted items have been flagged and the item page show a msg stating so. Deleted items are not in category or in the item search query form. I'll slate pages for actual deletion post release. 3. huh ? I don't quite understand this. The card database provided by the devs contain all cards in the game, including NPC-only cards. 4. Oh, this is planned for. Cards and items are in active flux during beta so we've put this on the backburner. Fully intend to allow semantic search for cards in future.
Note that I'm just being greedy here; the wiki is a wonderfully useful tool. It was just that I was doing some complex research yesterday, and felt some things could be improved a bit. I didn't see that link. Trying it, it is better than searching for the items, but it still doesn't tell me which of those items are still in the game. For the second part, I wanted the page for Healer's Spear to tell me I could get it from the Adventurers or Holy Healers starter packs. The "what links here" feature will do that, but isn't obvious and takes an extra click. But I have to go to each page to see that message, and I want to be able to tell from just a list of items. Specific example: yesterday I wanted to know if the card Maze Of The Mind was still in the game (or any card that triggers off an enemy's movement). Sorry, I meant similar to what I asked for deleted items. Specifically, I wanted to know which Projectile cards are usable by players.
This is great feedback. I think I got most of it. ok, understood. Pls try the item search query form here and lemme know if it helps your search. All results are drawn from items still in game. Understood. This is a great idea, I'm sure that there will be more starter packs in future. Think I'll just integrate it into the item search query results... Yeah, the item search query form is what you need. Well, the thing is I don't know either. I don't see the flag from dev data files. Some of these cards (like Hurled Dagger, Puncturing Shot, Strong Javelin Toss) are clearly slated for expansions and new classes. While they may be NPC only, I doubt it'll stay that way for long. hmm... Anyways, thanks for the great feedback. Lemme know if the item search query works for you. Thanks !
Changelog (24th June 2013) Added in another link to the usual item search from the main page. Hope its more prominent and accessible now. As per popular request, all wiki card pages now contain a collapsible section that returns all items containing said card. Hope it helps.
