Inventory for multiplayer and campaign

So I hit level 5 in campaign and went to multiplayer, got my free starter pack and played some games. Go to campaign and go to the store to see if I can buy something, the entire inventory of my multiplayer characters are now in my inventory which is going to make it very hard to remember what to sell / keep when I am level 18.

Suggestion, try to have a split between the inventories because its cluttering with stuff that I can not sell but is taking up space.

Having one inventory allows you to use the same items in both SP and MP! Why would you want to have to find an item from SP and then again in MP?

There have been many suggestions about further sorting options such as items sets. But as far as cluttering up your inventory might I advise using the sorting options, like sort by level? This will enable you to gauge exactly what items you can and cannot use for a particular party member yet.

I am not talking about seperating the loot totally lol...

My suggestion is meant as a total sort option, nothing more. Like one "mule" colored brown for the PvE found loot and in the same view a "mule" colored say, green.. you can use from each one but makes it easier, because now I have a TON of loot in my ONE inventory during campaign and I have no idea what to sell and what not to sell

Sell nothing, but Treasure! Or at least that is what I do. Because every card has its uses and every item is special. Also, the more loot the more options.

Trust me I have a large enough inventory that I understand your predicament. Personally, I feel that having to alternate between two separate inventories would only detract from my finding what I want.

Later on you will start gain some really cool items in single player that you could (SHOULD) use in mp

I just loged in to point that topic starter is right. It's very difficult to sort out items for MP and SP just because after MP tutorial there are bunch of items arrives to inventory and it's not cleary understood what items are in use, what could be sold and so on.

I agree it was confusing when first going to MP. I think the "usable" and "per item level" should be the default filters in inventory screens to avoid cluttering it with MP items you can't even use yet.
And there definitely should be an ingame hint to tell people that 1. inventory is limitless and 2. avoiding selling non-treasure items would be wise since further on there might be uses for almost anything. Like the handicap items that seem awful might be essential for some quests later on.

I agree. Even though some items may look useless right now you will be glad you'll have them at a later point.

Don't sell anything unless you have at least three!

Or 12 in a few cases.

I was wondering what sort of deck would really use more than 3 of any item. So far I've been avoiding to sell off items that I would need to equip an entire party, but would I really use 9 Wooden Token. I've been playing the campaign as 3 Wizard, 3 Warrior and 3 Cleric each, but even then I'd rather use some variety in the builds to stay flexible.

If anyone has a suggestion for an effective party that uses more than 3 of any item, I'd love to hear it.

I've been successfully using four Locket Of The Gales on my Wizard in my level 17 Wizard-Priest-Warrior SP farming party for two months. Having the eight Winds Of Wars is so good and versatile I haven't minded the Ember Sprays.

I also use as many copies as I have of the best Firestorm items on my three Dwarf wizards SP farming party, would easily use 12 if I had that many.

4 Runestones might be likely even for a single wizard, or 4 sorcerery staves if you have two Wizards (for low level / handicap quests).
I wish at some point we'd get content were certain items are forbidden which might open room for otherwise useless items.

My examples are all used for SP and SP farming. First, there are Locket Of The Gale and Brin's Storm Locket (or equivalent) as Jarmo mentioned. I routinely use 4 Copper Zapping Wands or Blister Stones per mage. I won't claim there aren't better items or mixes, but I use these and they work well for me.

Usable items sell for squat compared to treasure, and if you sell a rare or better and decide you need to replace it, you'll either lose money on the deal or probably spend a long time finding one. I discovered this the hard way early on. Some time spent speed-farming level 5 or 6 will probably get you money to equip pretty quickly, and possibly some very useful items.

Just some free advice that's worth every penny.
