EDIT: Problem solved, managed to buy the pizza after all. -- I'm reaching the end of the free adventures in my beta diary and figured I'd start a new party and play through the premium adventures next. There's just one little problem with that plan - not enough pizza. I've unlocked the first four premium adventures but there's still 7 left and I'm out of pizza. Earlier it was possible to use the Paypal sandbox to fake buy pizza but looks like Paypal has migrated their earlier sandbox environment to their new developers site and based on a quick look, it seems like us mere mortals can't use that to buy pizza anymore. Should've bought some back then I guess... Sooo... how about some more pizza, devs?
I will try to access the Paypal Sandbox tonight as it was working for me yesterday, but that was before the latest patches and build.
Entered the pizza store normally, got redirected to Paypal. Once I was in the "Choose a way to pay" page, I entered a wrong email and password twice. Now there was suddenly a new text: "Trouble logging in? You can pay with your credit or debit card as a PayPal guest" and a 'Guest Checkout' button that wasn't available originally. I used that Guest Checkout option, entered my credit card info, declined creating an account and voilá, more pizza for me
I used the Paypal Sandbox last night and it still works as it did. I have registered as a Sandbox user in the past, so that might be allowing me easier access. I didn't have to jump through the hoops that Zalminen had to.
Are you sure this is sandbox ? I went down the guest checkout, but all looked like it was going to actually debit my card.
Also if you have played the game for some time there is the negative pizza way of getting some pizza just putt a negative number in the pizza box when you are buying gold for pizza and it works logically for now until fixed debiting the correct amount of gold for pizza.
Check the URL, it's sandbox.paypal.com for the sandbox. Hmm, and now it's not letting me buy more pizza again without redirecting me to login. Strange. Oh well, I have enough already for my purposes.
You need to create a normal PayPal Account (can be a testaccount too, with a lot of invalid informations) - then you need to log in, create a sandbox account, charge this account with 50$ or something (it's not real money) and log in with that sandbox account at the sandbox page and pay with the nonreal money! I've got 2500 pizza slized now *already posted in another thread* ;D
