forum search didn't throw this up...so here goes. And, Gabbek was supposed to post this cos he was the one who caught it. He casted Bad luck on my dwarven priest, his warrior tricky stabbed me. Parry went up, we both saw the dice roll was at 3 but it dropped by 1 to 2. So the stab was parried. Tricky stab had Hard to Block. WAI?
Seems like attached card had a 'priority' and hard to block got ignored. I thought it would reduce the roll on parry by 4 - but it only did by 1 (Bad luck), seems like a bug!
Could be that you can only have one roll reduction source but then it would have to pick the highest or it would be silly
It could be several things. Rolling a 3 and determining that the end result should be -1 might have triggered the wrong codes. Again, this needs a ton more testing...best done in pvp. (Attacker fills deck with roll reducers, defender with blocks. Both sides stand like goons in arena and try for 20mins. Log all dice rolls and end results. After a day of this, you'll swear you'll never be a tester again )

I've just experienced this myself. Man-at-arms had Bad Luck attached and I attempted to use Tricky Stab, which has Hard to Block 3. The Man-at-Arms reacts with Parry. I expected the die roll to be reduced by 4, but only Bad Luck triggered. The die roll was reduced from a 4 to a 3 and the parry was successful.
