Kobolds are supposed to act somewhat "dumb", we've heard. Not sure if there's several different ai's - but it's certainly not hard to believe.
When that's been said, I've usually taken it as tongue-in-cheek. After all, it's been said about Gary's "roleplaying" of the monsters in general, not just Kobolds. Kinda like the random turn-passing, sometimes the AI can fool you into believing it's pretty smart, but inevitably its random numbers will make dumb mistakes.
Yeah, you're probably right. Like the mp ai's playing heals on undamaged units - even if it's extremely rarely.
Well, Farbs did mention that some monsters have 'personalities': http://www.cardhunter.com/forum/threads/ai-kills-ally-with-unholy-frenzy.442/ ...so it might even be intentional stupidity.
Oh ho ho! I'd forgotten about that! I wonder what form such variation would take. (If I were a War Pig, what card would I play . . . ?)
Amy just used team heal twice while at full hp she did have altruism so that might be why but worth looking in to
New one: Flying Monkey doesn't seem to be able to handle Shrug it Off - preferred to discard it (happened twice) with Path of Knives attached. This might be related to PoK not correcly being view as a threat by the ai or it lacks instructions for playing the card. Anyone seen them use it against any other attachments?
