It would be interesting to see a fixed deck league (on any of the MP maps would be fine) where every player gets a Dwarf Wiz, Hum Priest, and Elf Warrior (movement 2, 3, 4, all at health of 25) where the only card in every deck is a single Walpurgis Night. Basically a random Form battle, where every few turns the forms could change again. ("Could" because since every form can draw itself, it's possible for characters to refresh their form and not to revert back to their Walpurgis deck.)
Interesting concept, maybe a bit too random. I'd like a fixed deck league in the guise of Artifact Anarchy but with a Vampire, a Werewolf and a Spirit using somehow expanded form pools, with new characters from Castle Mitternacht (Yurick, Jovana...). An Inquisition vs Creatures of the Night board could be nice too, even if a bit harder to balance out. We'll see, there's definetely a lot of potential for new scenarios in CM.
Yes, I like @Rohndil's suggestions. Artifact Anarchy but with a balanced Vampire, Werewolf and Spirit characters and Monster Hunt with Inquisition vs. Creatures of the Night.
That would be easy enough, just make each deck consist of 3 homogeneous form cards. This would ensure that the character was always a Vamp, Wolf or Spirit, and create random draw from the start from the forms' decks. Put them all on a MP map and turn off the draw limit (since every player would likely hit it round 1). That's all it would take. While the forms aren't balanced to each other, the builds would be identical so it'd still be a balanced match.
What about a werewolf, a vampire, a Spirit and an Inquisitor on each side. Playing four characters would spice things up a little and allow play through most of the new mitternacht cards. Inquisitor Deck Human Priest 2x Vanguard 2x Fey Silversmith 2x Antimagic Skin 2x Fleet 2x Daylight 2x Flaring Torch 2x Inquisition Bolt 2x Inquisitor's Badge 3x Inquisitor's Strike 3x Investigate 2x Lucky Charm 2x Sacred Shroud 2x Shifting Block 2x Silver Bolt 3x Vengeance 3x Warding Lance
Ha ha ha, come to think of it, if draw limit mattered on Forms, then your (Scarp's) original idea would fail, too, since in the very first round, each character gets 6 totally random Form cards, lol.
