Just like the title implies firestorm does not apply its burning effect. While I don't mind the global nuke the burn would be nice to have as my mage is all about that spell.
Question! Should Firestorm be a Black card as well as its current Red, since it has a "drawback" for the caster?
Don't think so, Misguided Heal, Bad Medicine and Unholy Frenzy isn't drawback marked either. Then again, this can be argued to be worse for you than those.

I personally don't think so because in the end its a big attack i mean you wouldn't make fireball black because 2 out of 5 times it will hit your friends if you want to use it optimally and i do see your point i just think true attacks self damaging or not shouldn't be marked as drawbacks. I would be 10 times as inclined to make overhead slam or what ever that card is black red in that case as discarding a card is much worse most of the time.
