[SUGGESTION] Less Privileges to Low elo

I was just afk for a few hours only to come back to this message:
"You have been reported by other players in multiplayer. You may be banned from joining multiplayer games if we receive more reports. You can read about the reporting and banning system here."
This was after I played lots of games of Roll out the Barrels and won a lot vs low elo players, a few of these players then proceeded to PM me to cuss at me - I did not report them as they only addressed me and not in world chat because I can deal with a bit of hatred.
My guess is that these people, after not achieving the response from me that they wanted, reported me. I have also heard from other players that absolutely new players just come into Multiplayer and report random players that are online.
My suggestion is to remove reporting privileges from players under 500, 750 or even 1000 elo. Ever since mods have been introduced to the game, I have seen quite a few (Pawndawan in particular) helping out in World Chat. Maybe adding a button that lists all of the mods currently online would be useful, newer players can then PM these players to ask for some assistance in a game or anything else (and if a mod gets spammed I dont they should feel guilty to just block the spammer).
My guess is that those Braves of Glory are creating alt accounts and sniping off high standing players from Walking Carpets, so I think the Braves should all be executed. No but in all seriousness this is getting annoying and its not the first time its happened.

but in all seriousness I kinda agree, some people recently starting are already off to kinda polluting the world chat with weird stuff.

I care because I dont want myself or anyone else to be banned from multiplayer for no reason.

To be clear, I think you have a legitimate concern.
I also think it's a little funny: BVD sits atop elo ladder...complains about players at the bottom.

I don't think automated bans should be a thing here. Automated muting might be okay (can only talk to users who have friended them and co-op teammates). Instead, I'd like to see a system where when someone gets the automated warning, a flag is put next to their username that only mods and devs can see. That way if they keep acting up in public, the mods know that they have already been warned and can act appropriately.

Or alternatively invalid reports leads to the reporters getting warned and later potentially banned.

I find the idea of tying reporting privileges to an arbitrary elo number rather sloppy as far as solutions go, why should someone who has no interest in playing MP matches and thus has a low elo not have reporting rights when they see someone breaking the rules in the world chat/league battle chat, especially if that person is just someone who never played ranked matches but plays a lot of SP/leagues? What part of winning a few MP matches improves someone's report reliability? Are there figures on how many fraudulent reports come from low/high elo people, and how many useful reports come from them?

Beyond that putting reporting at a certain elo threshold makes the reporting process less intuitive and doesn't address the source of the problem which is that people can make fraudulent reports in the first place and it can lead to automated warnings and more. I'm assuming there aren't that many cases where enough reports are accrued that having a moderator handle it manually is infeasible. That way you can still solve the problem without implementing a system that frankly just seems like elo snobbery.

I just dont see another way of preventing players joining this game for the first time and then reporting everyone they see, what solution would you propose?
I do not know much about the reporting system, but do you mean that moderators can remove reports from players and ban other players? If so this is enough and you can just forget this thread ever existed - otherwise the problem still stands "Low elo players are reporting high elo players" and there is no other way of putting it.
I understand you point that many low elo players are absolutely fine, but I find that there are a lot more angry and trigger happy low elo players than high.

Even if you did want to do elo, you should have a way that all players will reach the elo requirement without having to play mp. Regardless it will not prevent fraudulent reports, though I fully support requiring players' to have completed the tutorial before reporting is enabled.

What if it was just a time frame thing? Something like where the system just ignores reports from accounts that are newer than X days.

I am still getting a pop-up warning every time I log in, if anyone who see this have privileges of remove the message from popping up I would be very grateful - its very annoying.

I've received a report warning, and that makes no sense because I have been chatting sparingly and playing without stalling. I agree with this; it's annoying.

    *GENERAL COMMENT*
When you receive a warning, and you don't know why, rather than assuming that you are being unfairly targeted by salty opponents, email support@cardhunter.com to ask about the warning. We can see what you're being reported for and give you advice on how to improve your behavior if necessary. This is not directed at any player in particular and we do not discuss warnings, reports, or bans in public (like here on the forums).

@Flaxative , is there anyway the warning message can be modified to tell people to email support if there's a question about the warning? Seems like that might be the gentle push that's needed for many to do just that.

Or just tell us the reason why we are being reported in the pop up (which I am still getting every time I log in - please remove it).

So I was just playing a WWW league match, where I drew two delegates on my characters...

I got the warning popup after asking them to shut up. But this is what I mean, some people dont understand how to use the reporting function, and if you look, he is accusing me of stalling while I have more time than him on the clock and this screenshot was taken after me wasting about two minutes arguing in chat.
Please remove the reports from my account - I am still getting the popup when I log in.

Hm, now that you mention it...

The pop-up disappeared faster than I got the reply. Needless to say I'm waiting to this day for an answer

Deleted your attachment. Remember not to post chat logs of this kind of stuff publicly; use report functionality to deal with users who are behaving poorly. Or if it's acute, you can ask a mod to look into it.

Why did you delete it? I have posted battle logs before, like this:
And you never had an issue with it?
