Will there be any package deal ( membership, new figures, etc ) to buy like normal? Or is this different this time since there is no modules in the expansion?
I'm a bit surprised by the lack of a package deal. It seems to me that Mitternacht is a pretty significant expansion with new game mechanics and story; but it won't have any in-game way of introducing those mechanics or presenting the story. The content will just quietly trickle in via chests. Players who aren't reading the forums might not even know that anything significant has been added. I reckon that the release of a such a large amount of content would be good time to also release a few figures and modules in a bundle. This could create a sense of completeness, and to give players something to buy if they don't want chests. I personally will never buy chests, for various reasons; but I have bought a few other things in the game, and I'd probably buy a Mitternacht bundle if there was one. I guess not everyone is the same as me though.
I am not a chest buyer either, since it violates my code of honor. So no package is sad news for me also.
It's based on either the first minion in the group, or the last. The small portrait next to their hand is the opposite.
We hear the players who aren't interested in purchasing chests. Due to the nature of this content, however, we did not invent something else for you to buy—if you are happy with the work we're doing, and want to support it, consider buying club membership or spreading the word and maybe getting your friends into Card Hunter. Hopefully we can produce more paid singleplayer content soon.
Are CM-specific campaign modules something that's at all on the table, or do you think it more likely you all'll be going a different direction for the next campaign content? Or is it all still just being decided? I've still got enough pizza for expansion modules, and enough steam wallet funds for an expansion bundle.. I'm.. I'm just saying.. ....................................
Still being decided, sorry. There's a lot of different factors we need to take into consideration as we pick our next move. We'll update you all on our plans as appropriate. In the meantime... enjoy the new content
