Item sort bug

    Couldn't find anything else on this, Sorting by Talent in Axes and Things shop doesn't group items by talent.

    Its almost impossible to tell if you are correct from just that image.

    Notice how divine weapons, weapons, staffs, arcane items, divine items, divine armor, robes and armor are all mixed together?

    Yeah, but we can't see the Talent cost of any of them. Guessing by the Blessed Branch at the top (it's pretty unmistakeable), the nearby items are likely Beginner's Staff, Blocking Hammer, Blunt Sword and so on, none of which have any Talent requirements.

    I presume you are mistaking "Talent" for "the slot on the character sheet where the item goes." Talents are explained here. The dev diary one previous concluded with "OK, then what’s a Talent? I don’t have time to fully explain them this week, but you can see them in the item illustrations above. They’re represented by the little glass beads next to the item names and they determine which items you can use. I’ll run through more exactly what they are and how we came to adopt them next week." And, then, came the explanation I linked.

    Edited P.S.: I'm not sure why people keep posting logs when there's nothing in the log related to their post. Really, just look at it: there's no mention of sorting.

    Its really hard for some people to tell especially if they have no experience with code what so ever and are of the younger generation so don't be too harsh on them. A general tip would probably be that the only log information needed tends to be the first 5 and last 8 rows at most.

    Well, if I sounded harsh, I apologize. I wanted to mention this because thinking about the logs is helpful for giving good bug reports, and we've seen a bunch that went either way by now. Also, I mentioned it within this thread because I would sound even more egotistical if I started a whole new thread to say "Hey, all you people posting logs: listen up."

    It wasn't as much the amount of harshness as it was the focus of it. I'm not saying you intended it that way but if i had this thread i would feel extra targeted by the comment is all. But i know you have no ill will so that wouldn't happen some of the new members might not know that.

    I often find that to be an issue: I've got something practical to say, and all available ways to say it sound rude, and so a NORMAL person would conclude "Oh, you shouldn't say it," but I ain't normal. As a result, I hope for the best and apologize for the worst.
