(5/17/16 - #1-10) Greetings: This is a list of my feedback specifically for the global Content and Game Play to the Card Hunter game. I have a separate thread for Suggestions - Custom Scenarios / Map Maker / Game Master Content 01-01 Add rogue class ---01.2 (Specializes in free movement and trickery…like smoke bombs and stealing enemy cards.) 02-02 Add Archer Class ---02.2 (Specializes in ranged physical attacks) 03-03 Add invisible trap tiles ---04-03.02 I suppose it would make sense if the rogue could both place and see expose them Game Play 05-01 Target Hero Tokens using their screen bottom grafix. 06-02 Cancel move cards by clicking the card tray. 07-03 Replay Moves ---03.02 Different from the log in that you can see prior positions of pieces 08-04 Filter Items by “Usable” and “Equitable” ---04.02 Difference is, “Usable” means “Can character use at all?” and “Equipable” would filter out items temporarily unequipable due to other items utilizing power tokens. Miscellaneous 09-01 When damage is reduced to 0, eliminate visual and audio harm indicators. 10-01.02 Add "miss" and "dud" A/V Ni|
Hidden information is really hard with the way the game is currently set up (they had a lot of trouble just hiding your hand from your opponent). This has been discussed a lot in the past, but the simple reason is that moves trigger certain other cards before you choose the target tile.
Nothing the programmers cant overcome Im sure. The game is young, what, only 2 1/2 years? There is plenty of time for it to mature through its growing pains.
01-01.2 You mean liiiiike an Elf Wizard? $:^ } (well, I guess you mean take another's cards into your own hand rather than merely remove them from one's hand) 08-04.02 Yes, please! $:^ ] (That reminds me once again, I've had a suggestion for awhile that I keep forgetting to post. Hopefully alerts in here will nag me into it.) 09-01 Makes sense *sorta,* but it's weird that Savage Curse will cause "unholy strike" sound effect yet perfectly reasonable and expected that Ooze Blast will cause "arcane strike" sound effect. Meanwhile, Pulverizing through a block won't cause a "crushing strike" sound effect. $:^ \ 10-01.02 ...? Already there?
