Using elvish insight against enemies of no elf nature, they have a chance to block if they have a block any card. Considering this does no damage, should this carry out?
Various curses that do 0 damage also get blocked. I've depended on this to give Flimsy Block a reason to exist outside of the first levels. The question is whether they want "cards that are impervious to blocking" to exist. So far none do.
I think this should be fixed but that is my personal opinion based solely on the fact that i think this card is too or borderline too good in pvp if it forces blocks.
We could add a "this card can't be blocked" keyword and I could certainly see that being necessary for things that target every enemy like this. It's not a bug though, at the moment.
Though i know its not a bug, it kinda throws me off when i play cards like that cause i dont expect it. Now if it was Flash of Pain i could understand, its just unusual. Entirely up to you guys though.
Yeah, the rule isn't "harmful cards trigger Blocks"; it's "any cards whatsoever played by the opposing side trigger Blocks." You can exploit this for fun and profit.
Dwarven Battle Cry also triggers blocks and while i definitely think positive spells should be able to trigger blocks i really don't think Elvish insight and Dwarven Battle Cry should because of them being global among other things.
Block Dwarven Battle Cry - I'll waste my block in order to NOT get a card -- suddenly Dwarven Battle Cry becomes a golden weapon - even against full dwarven team of opposition - instead of them getting additional cards you get rid of their blocks... sounds like effectively 2 cards in favour for you whoo! Godly to say the least.
