Ok so my wizard is in a situation where she had Clumsy attached to her, it was attached by a Radiation Bomb cast by opposing wizard.

Ok so, i read the description on Clumsy, it clearly says "attack" and not "utility" So i move my wizard so that i'm able to cast Telekinesis on a fellow team member in need of assistance. But no, Clumsy will not allow me to cast it, as i now have my back to my team member...

Ok then what to do... I read Shrug it Off, clearly this will remove the attachment, since it was attached by opponents Radiation Bomb.. But no... Nothing happened...

Hmmm running out of options... To my surprise, Magma Spray allows me to turn, even though i target a square behind me...

Success, i am now facing my teammate! Telekinesis moves my fellow teammate out of harms way.

    Counter-intuitive i would say :)

Okay, thanks for this. The Shrug it Off thing is a known issue (we're fixing Purge effects with the upcoming release of AI). Clumsy should say "when playing a card." The Magma Spray thing might be unintuitive, but it actually fits the logic of the rest of CH—there is no target :)

Cool that you will take a look at the purge effects, hopefully it will be more streamlined, like "all handicaps" etc etc.

I just found it funny that when i messed up the positioning because of clumsy, i actually had two possible counters to that in my hand :)

I can see how the phrasing "your target" makes sense, also "cone" does not say target square, so yep.

    Thanks for responding.

    One more thing.

For whatever reason, Berserk Spin allows you to pick your facing, even if you target everybody around you anyways.

Yeah cones allowing you to bypass clumsy is an interesting thing, but i am not complaining.

I find the interaction of jump back and Hypnobeacon a bit counterintuitive. Maybe since the jump 2 squares back is the very character of the card and its much work to setup jump back in a way to ensure you actually evade - or can hit an enemy with it in hand. But with hypnobeacon in the mix, all kinds of stuff happens. When triggered, you suddenly get to sidestep attacks, without ever changing facing. I would have expected that the facing and the direction of the jump back are still determinating bits while the hypno only affects the extent of the jumping.

I, too, have despaired when Shrug It Off has failed to remove a radiation-induced drawback. I run with the card a lot in SP, so I've seen it fail to work as advertised fairly often. On EttSC maps, I mostly save it for cleansing poisons or taking the initiative back at the end of a turn instead of wasting it failing to shoo away a Fright or Trip.
Glad to see it will be fixed "soon".

Flaxative/BM, don't forget the second half of the drawback while you're at it, though, please. $:^ ]

"and you do not turn to face attackers" -> "and you do not turn to face enemies who affect you"

"attackers" is just enemies doing stuff to you - not a gameic term like "enemies playing Attacks targeting you" would be ;)

Clumsy fix will be in AI.

Fix as in that utility is now too affected by clumsy? Will cones still allow turning? i liked that.

Just fixed the text to reflect how it currently works (which, I believe, is: you can't turn to target, but you can still turn to cone).
