You are right. Magic attacks. Not spells. Wrong game. Magic attacks are the only ones involved. If your mage camps into a pentagram, he can't cast magic outside of it. A mage outside a pentagram, can't cast inside. The only gray spot would be a mage inside a pentagram, casting into a different pentagram: obviously, this shouldn't happen, but the game would probably interpreter this as only one pentagram. ....be a portal! Which is possiblewith a pentagram. Perhaps what you meant to make is Sanctuary, as opposed to Pentagram. I'd prefer the name better, and would be more of a Priest thing. (Thinking along lines of Bless, etc, you could make a Mass Sanctuary then)
