    You are right. Magic attacks. Not spells. Wrong game.
    Magic attacks are the only ones involved.
    If your mage camps into a pentagram, he can't cast magic outside of it. A mage outside a pentagram, can't cast inside.
    The only gray spot would be a mage inside a pentagram, casting into a different pentagram: obviously, this shouldn't happen, but the game would probably interpreter this as only one pentagram.

    ....be a portal! Which is possiblewith a pentagram. Perhaps what you meant to make is Sanctuary, as opposed to Pentagram. I'd prefer the name better, and would be more of a Priest thing. (Thinking along lines of Bless, etc, you could make a Mass Sanctuary then)

    Why not?

    Portal
    Magic assist
    Range 6
    Target 2 squares become Portal terrain (you can move from a portal to another as if they were adjacent)

    That would be quite hard to code, especially with the facing thing.

    Been a while since I submitted ideas:

    Look Out, Soldier!
    Assist Card [White]
    Create a Spin Around card and put it in Target's hand.

    Suit Up, Soldier!
    Assist Card [White]
    Create a Reliable Hide Armor card and put it in Target's hand.

    Btw, some of us were talking in World one night about Leap, and someone (I?) mentioned this idea, which we all generally enjoyed iirc:

    Leap, Team!
    Assist
    Rare, somewhere around Gold
    Other allies: Push 2, Fly, set your facing at the end of this Push.

    You take damage equal to the amount of cards you have. Increase this card's damage by the amount of cards you and the target have.

    Let me help you rephrase it.

    Damage 0 - Range 4
    You take damage equal to the amount of cards you have. Increase this card's damage by the amount of cards you and the target have.

    So let me get this straight:
    You have 3 cards and the enemy has 2, you take:
    3 + 3 + 2 Damage? or 3 + 2?

    It's really a weird alternative to punishing bolt, one that is really boosted by your arcane shells.

    Move cards for all distances up to 10. Regular move 5 (the same as mikey76500's move) should be Bronze+, move 6 and 7 should be Silver-, move 9 and 10 should be Silver+.

    Hit and Run (Silver+)
    Melee Slashing Attack card
    Immediately create a move card with move points equal to the number of cards in the opponent's hand.
    Range: 1
    Damage: 7
