    Pure genius

  2. The idea is awesome, its risky because there are not staff with Dropped guard. But it suits perfectly with the concept.
Also double blue token is tempting. I guess, we can agree, than 4/2 is a safer bet.

Stone Spikes is also a good idea.

    Totally

I noticed this too. A large fraction of items in my "prepared items" list follow this format. In fact, the Eternal Darkness item came from that list, and followed that format. So did Cataclysmic Radcannon, an item I submitted. That didn't catch on, though. Items with a 2-1-2-1 format are perfectly decent too, and 3-1-1-1 is also recurring and interesting.

Regarding the Acid Jet item, I think that if you're ever going to have an item with three or more multiple-terrain effects excluding Wall Of Illusion and Illusory Barrier(e.g., Acid Jet, Wall Of Fire, Flash Flood) the item needs to cost either (majortoken) (for 3-card items) or (majortoken)(majortoken) (for 6-card items). Notice that most (if not all!) of the items in the game follow this rule. It makes sense; terraforming is strong so it ain't come cheap! Also note that Acid Jet is an extremely versatile card: it deals damage, it blocks pathways (anywhere from minor to major control), and it can remove armor. I believe Wall Of Illusion and Illusory Barrier via Wallbuilder's Staff and Illusion respectively are exceptions because consuming an entire staff slot for utility instead of attack is a big drawback. Notice that the rule also holds for priests.

Dropped Guard is very strong for wizards. That would be pushing it too far. Do note that a double minor token staff cost is seemingly less versatile than a double major one if one wants to maximize the use of their tokens. One may notice the similarity with warriors, who can't equip 3 double minor token weapons without undervaluing a token.

Do note that this isn't the case with the majority of the single player campaign.

To a point. There are also many 4 an 4+ single card staves I'm fond of. The value of having 4 or more of a card is that it's more likely to actually show up in hand. A mix is often better for flexibility, but I think focus works better for some strategies.

@Force.ofWill - All Rods in the game are arcane items, so you might rethink that part of the name to avoid confusion.

Edit: I think level 15 is a good place for the Striper. It doesn't max out the level for (majortoken)(minortoken), and I believe the cost is appropriate. Whether Flax agrees is another matter. And it provides enough focus to actually make Acid Jet playable.

Okay, there are a few options (I've played Sour and Whiterune in particular), but when paying (majortoken)(majortoken)(majortoken)(majortoken) for 4, it's an inconsistent draw.

  9. Nice to see than you like it. But maybe i will go for the first idea.

    Maybe The Green Stripper Pipe/Tube/Pole

Yes, maybe make it double blue token is greedy. For one yellow and one blue seems more fair.

    Barbers use striped poles ;)

  11. Oh my mistake, i want it to call it The green Stripper Rod (because if you play well, the opponents will be naked after that)

Maybe The Green Stripper Pole is more close to the original idea

I think I might have played more ranked multiplayer games with acid jet in at least one of my decks that without.

Uh, I want to ask you for help with a name. So far I wasn't really satisfied with my submissions to the current AA, but now I have an ideal one, but I lack a name for it.

The cards for it are as follows:

The following item, according to Vakaz' tool, is level 15. This would help us itemize both Push the Button and Laser Cutdown to a slightly better point.

Also, the item has a nice theme - it's a one-button finish. Should I just name it "Failed Fatality" as a tribute to all these people who couldn't make correct button presses in Mortal Kombat?

Some quick thoughts to convince others they can do better:
    Finishing Laser
    Dying Light
    Gun of Surprise Endings
    Pushy Cutdown

@Lucky Dice - Combo Masher? Button Masher? Combo Chopper? Gambler's Axe? Uncertainty Blade? Quantum Edge?

Of my three sillier suggestions, I think I like Button Masher best, because it envokes the idea of a guy frantically mashing the buttons on his axe to deploy the damnedable thing, as well as the player frantically mashing the keys in a desperate attempt to do something, even if they don't really understand the control scheme that well. Both concepts fit.

@Inkfingers - Yeah, I really like the Button Masher, though something tells me a mix of first two suggestions would be even better.
