Yeah I thought about calling it Rolling, Stopping, Dropping Shoes.

Or better yet [Violent] Spinning, Immoving, Tripping Shoes.

But for some reason they didn't sound as good

A list of all the items with Immovable shows that the boost trait appears first, second, or last in a bunch of items.

Yeah, plenty of evidence says Stopping, Dropping, Rolling Shoes would be totally valid to contain Immovable, Trip, Violent Spin in that order -- lining up with your title much more nicely imo -- and Flak has made it abundantly clear, Aloyzo likes style. $:^ }

 

I always considered that the most 'important' cards (the ones that define the item) tend to be higher up. Not always the case, but as a rule of thumb.

 

I had an idea for another pacifist item. It totally follows the restrictions, not a single damaging card in it.

That doesn't help much if two of the three cards are not player cards.

 

I think is joke, yes? Does not work for many reasons.

 

If that's the case, I'm not amused, when people make this contest to be a joke.

 

Funny submissions are good because it makes people happy.

 

Or perhaps Vertically Challenged: Bloodied Block, Bloodied Block, Blind Rage. Dwarf Skill. Lv6 Tokenless Legendary.

May i suggest you call it just that then, Hide of the River Dragon, River Dragon Hide. More lore-friendly, less, dunno.

 

I'd ditch the item all together, since it has no chance of winning the contest. (Flash Flood is only in arcane items and staves)

 

True, but there is precedence for terrain attachments on robes. Flash Flood would probably be fine on robes, just as Freeze was fine on an arcane skill.

 

One would probably work, 2 is pushing it a bit.
But as someone who submitted an illegal item, I say go for it

 

If the policy is that items shouldn't have cards that isn't used in that slot then no items would get created. So there must be another policy I suggest using my guide which says that robes can use 'arcane item cards'.

 

Card files say:
646,Flash Flood,[...],"Arcane Item,Robes,Staff,Arcane Skill"
So there is no problem with Flash Flood being on robes

 

Card files aren't the best to go with. Flax mentioned one of my submissions being problematic for containing a card not found in that slot despite the card files listing it as appropriate for the slot.

 

Here's a radical idea:
Make an item because it is fun and thematically strong.
Who cares if you break a few rules? Having fun is what really matters at the end of the day.

It is just as my father used to say, "You can't make a tasty omelette without crushing an egg under your boot heel and then flaying the mother hen alive in front of her fellows to send a message to the rest of the brood."

 

If I could like this post more than once I would. My father used to say the same thing.
