Last night I dreamt my wallet and my Vibrant Pain were stolen, both by the same thief. I don't even play warriors much and I'm not all that attached to my Vibrant Pain; I think I just associate it with being worth a lot of money and highly regarded. So now I'm control+F'ing my dream journal for "Card Hunter" to see how the game has worked into my brain over the time I've been playing— It seems that last year, I had a dream I was in a car on a road covered with a sort of patchwork of terrain, and cars were swerving to avoid the "particularly nasty terrain such as acid." Another took place in a room with a door that had Reliable Mail. And just a couple months ago, there was one in which I was extracting a dead mosquito from the skin on my back— And then sometimes I simply dream Card Hunter matches, and wake up feeling like I've just been dealing with some dwarves in Gladius Triple. What I find more interesting than those, though, is I occasionally have dreams in which Card Hunter concepts feature kind of metaphorically. Like a frustrating argument with someone might manifest as me trying to get them off a victory square; and just this past December 17, when I was hard at work on my end-of-semester papers as a student, I dreamed I was saving up little nuggets of research I could use in other parts of my paper if needed, in the manner of saving up moves. I was playing ranked on the Batford maps during breaks in my work at the time, and I suppose working patiently and with adequate detail through an academic argument unknowingly paralleled a wise, not-too-hasty approach to the clusters of victory squares. My subconscious might have a bit too much Card Hunter.
I had a dream, that paying CH paid the bills. Like it was in theWorld Cyber Games and i was playing in middle of a stadium and there were commentstors and a huge crowd...but then I woke up If only CH paid the bills. Maybe one day... Plus it's be cool to meet Farbs and other BM team IRL Maybe one day too we could release a CH line...CH figurines and such. I'd like to see CH figurines of my favourite Caverns heroes, like Wym and Mokad!
Your dream about victory square argument was interesting btw. It could mean you give others too much credit and not enough for yourself. Dunno, just a guess. Cause I feel we are all on the victory squares! Arguments are just when one or both persons fail to understand or even make an effort to understand the other. Win or lose, both people lose the victory square when an argument happens!
I have had some really amazing learning come out of multi-hour-long arguments before. There is definitely such a thing as good arguments. That said, if it is done poorly, it can definitely be a destructive experience. The way that I interpreted @SceoMyntan 's description sounded like the two of them were both on VPs and that Sceo was trying to force his opponent off so he would get the point at end of round. Both are valid interpretations, though. I love reading about the ways that our dreams and lives bleed together. It sounds like you've got a very active dream life.
I once dreamt of delivering an Impaling Stab to my brother. Was a very bad dream. Maybe I was very frustrated that day.
